Re: PLEASE HELP :/ Refused Parent of a UK Child Visa

Did you get more evidence of how you will be involved in your child's day to day upbringing, in the previous rejection they have mentioned lack of clarity on that as one of the reasons. Make sure you include something that shows definitive plans of you upbringing your child along with the mother.

Tourist Visa Funds

Hi My brother is going to be applying for a tourist Visa to visit me for about 10 days. I was wondering how much money and how many months' bank statements does he need to show. Also is it worth me writing a letter that I will bre supporting his expenses fully while he is here which is actually true...

When you apply for your first British passport, you need to send your current passport to them which they will return to you later. I am not sure how you are saying you can travel as you will have no passports
I assumed OP has not submitted documents yet..if this is incorrect then apologies.

Re: Travel documentation options (limbo between citizenship ceremony and British Passport)

I was in a similar position, if you ring the HMPO office directly rather than the call centre mailine they are generally much more helpful. Just google the particular office's number and speak to them. Even though they say 6 weeks when I rang them , i had BP within 2 working days of calling them, al...

Re: Travelling to US while citizenship application is in process for a Minor

Hi All, I appreciate this question has been answered several times on this forum, but my query is more specific to the application for a minor (4-year-old) who will not actually have any naturalization process. So basically, I made an application for my 4-year-old daughter for British Citizenship u...

Re: UKVCAS: Free appointments - do they exist?

I tried calling on 0330 123 1199 as I am perhaps not wealthy enough to pay £2.50/min for the premium rate telephone number (0900 165 6600) and I could not find any free appointments online. After 35 minutes on hold, still no human in sight. Does anyone know how you can realistically get a free appo...
