Just realized that I’ve sent the opt-out email to admin.ukvas@soprasteria.com . UKVAS? Is it a typo or they did it on purpose?

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Just called the UKVCAS. They said 1) the Home Office randomly picked people to join the ‘biometric reuse’ group, and 2) currently there are more than 15000 applicants waiting for the appointment or IDV app 3) there’s no ETA for the appointment booking email for the applicants choose to opt out.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

The email said ‘Rollout of the IDV app will take place in phases , beginning in August.’ If it means the applicants that submitted their application in April and May will get the invitation first, I believe that it might be better to opt out if you submitted your application in June and July since y...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Just to make you aware my partner received e-mail from FES appointments at 7:30pm today to book appointment. Application Set(o) t2G, 09/07. E-mail clearly states you are not eligible for bio reuse (despite last biometrics was 2 years ago). Easily booked for tomorrow for 135. Hope this helps, Thanks...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

The British Embassy in China announced that from 3rd of Aug, the suspended Priority and 24-hour Super Priority visa service has been resumed for all the applicants in China. I think the Embassies have already cleared their backlog. Hopefully we will hear some good news from the Home Office in the ne...

We’re starting with people who registered with UKVCAS before the 27th March but did not have an appointment. Watch out for an email arriving 21/22nd June with...
