Re: British Passport documents to send

You can use any correspondence address for British passport application. It is irrelevant and no need to update HO.
Use your new address.

Also, note, you can only claim points for jobs that existed after your extension period unless you fall under the exception rule.

How did he continue to work after his visa was initially refused?

How did he get his ILR? Via Tier 1 Ent route or Long Residence?

Re: Life in the UK Test

https://lifeintheuktestweb.co.uk/exams/ My recommendation would be to do these 16 EXAMS thoroughly (“exams” not tests). Make sure you practice them at home till you get 24/24 correct. If you do these 16 exams only, you will pass the test. No book needed. This is my own personal experience (family an...

Re: Access UK Check list & Proof of residency and UK activity

Access UK checklist is the documents checklist generated at the end of the online application. You do not need to upload it. It is for your own records only. The categories are generic and not all categories apply to you. As long you upload documents in any category that fits best, you are okay. One...

You will need to contact TNT. It can take 3-6 weeks for the passport and documents to be returned.

Re: Naturalisation and Working out of UK

Dates are not important. Mention the employer and estimate dates or clarify in the notes/cover letter.

Alternatively, you will have to request HMRC (google). It can take 6-8 weeks or longer. It is not needed though as I said above.

FYI: https://www.immigrationboards.com/british-citizenship/steps-to-follow-after-online-application-t314359.html As advised, online application is much simpler and adapts to your circumstances. Once you start the form, come back with specific questions you may have. Note, both your parents can be ad...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hello, I managed to successfully pay for super priority for a set m application this evening (well 1am). But.... When I was finally directed to UKVCAS website, the only appointments available were labeled as "standard". Does it often take longer to find a super priority appointment? I have looked a...

Re: Naturalization Application: Document Scanning Service

Thanks Cullinan. Shall I click on submit button or just leave it to be grayed out in last 48 hrs? If I don't submit will my uploaded documents get wiped off? please advise. Nothing will be wiped off. You should NOT self-submit your incomplete documents anyways. Submit at the appointment in your case.

Re: Naturalization Application: Document Scanning Service

In your case, self-submission is useless. Upload the documents you have. Let UKVCAS scan other documents you wish and submit all for you at the appointment now. In my personal opinion, documents checking service is a waste. Also note, UKVCAS staff is not trained in immigration/Nationality matters. T...

Simply provide details in the cover letter. If you are registered as self employed or do not pay taxes via the PAYE scheme AND the deadline to file first tax return is not yet due, provide details in the cover letter.

Re: ILR for Tier 2 General Dependant (not completed 5 years)

You must apply before your current visa expiry regardless if your wife (main applicant) has got a decision by then or not. You will directly apply for ILR within the dates I mentioned earlier. Apply ILR anytime after 6/12/2021 and before 13/12/2021. If your wife applies for ILR in Oct 2021 and goes ...

Re: Naturalisation Application Guidance

You and your son can apply together. You can start your AN Form and create one account. You can then add your son as “Child below 18” in the same account. The form will automatically adapt to MN1 in his case. The documents checklist at the end will let you know what documents you require. Also read ...

Re: British Passport documents to send

Hi, I have got my naturalisation and am now applying for my passport. I have a question on the documents to send. The website said I should send the passport I first used to come into the UK with. I came to the UK in 2001 at the age of 6 under my mum's passport. Does this mean I have to send her pa...

It is best to declare as separate entries. You can always mention in the notes/cover letter at the end of the form that you were employed throughout. I do not see any issues here.

Re: Apply for citizenship as a spouse to BC (already have ILR)

You can apply now as per Section 6(2) BNA 1981 since you are married to a British Citizen. You only need to meet 3 years residence requirement in your case (not 5 years). Your route to ILR is immaterial. Note, you should not have any illegal entry in UK or any overstay period for the last 10 years t...

Re: First British passport for child

Tbh, I am unaware about such a situation but I think if you can carry child’s original Indian passport to UK, have the original certificate of registration (as child was registered inside UK), it should be okay.
Note: I am not 100% sure though and stand to be corrected if wrong.
