Re: Mistake in naturalisation online application and biometric application issue.

Hello all, I have applied for the naturalisation on 29th October 2020 through online and after submitting the application I have realised that I did a mistake. There was a question : HAVE YOU MADE ANY PREVIOUS UK IMMIGRATION APPLICATION IN THE UK OR ABROAD. THIS INCLUDES APPLICATIONS FOR ASYLUM IN ...

Re: Travelling with Non British Spouse

I have a Pakistani passport and my wife and kids are British. I have always gone through UK citizens lane and never had a problem. As long you are a family unit, you can use any UK/non-UK lane. Does not matter.

Thanks @CULLINAN.

I am almost done with the application, however, the required documents are as perplexing as ever. Any idea what proof should be submitted as parental responsibility?
UK birth certificate.

Re: My upcoming ILR Application

Follow the UK entry date in your case. 2 days does not matter. Safest option as probably you entered on the vignette and then collected BRP in UK?

What is the date on your initial BRP?

But anyways, go by entry date in your case.

Re: No Marriage Certificate

As long you are the mother applying on child’s behalf, it is not needed.

I am only religiously married in UK. As per UK law I am considered unmarried.
My wife applied MN1 for our daughter. We did not submit any marriage certificate/father’s documents (myself) and had no issues.

Re: Driving offence after I ILR application

Dear Cullinan, I hope you are well and safe. I rang UKVI today, a lady answered and I told her that I want to notify home office about this penalty points and fine. And she told me that I don't have to notify them about this. She also said if they found out about this incident they will get in touc...

1) 25th May.
(I hope and pray the CW does not come back and say you did not qualify for 10 years lawful residence on 25th May). Keep us posted with your outcome.

2) Both are different departments.

3) You did the right thing.

Re: ILR 5 Yr on T2G and SW combined

You are correct. Tier 2 G time will be counted towards SW settlement period also. https://www.gov.uk/settle-in-the-uk/y/you-have-a-work-visa/tier-2-general-visa Also read: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/936761/2020-11-18_Sponsor-a-Skil...

Re: ILR 5 Yr on T2G and SW combined

This does not apply to applicants who already are on Tier2G. If you switch employer on SW visa then obviously you will go on a new SW route. But if an applicant is with the same employer on Tier 2G can simply carry on.

As long both your children born abroad are below 18, they can be registered now via MN1 route since you are British and mother is settled already.
