Re: Tier 1 to ILR

I would agree with that for cases where Premium service is not available. Biometric or document submission date Is not considered as application date in the old system so no reason why they would change that. Having said that, it should have minimal impact for an applicant. In most cases, the job c...

Re: Tier 1 to ILR

Thank you for your response. As per my perception, I think the date of application will be the date when the application is submitted online regardless of the documents upload or appointment date. What do you think? They must give some time to self upload documents before appointment date, so It wi...

Re: Consent form ILR online application

@munsey Congratulations! Please can you let me know the following: 1) Did you upload all the pages of the passports (new and old?) for absenses evidence? I have like 6 passports. Would I need to upload all? 2) Once you upload the documents, does the system give you option to view the documents? 3) I...

Re: Submitted date vs Appointment date?

I have called UKVI this morning and they have confirmed that online application submission date is the best eligible date for ILR. This is also confirmed by front end team supporting new process. Very confusing and it seems no formal confirmation yet from UKVI. I have the same confusion. But this s...

Re: Tier 1 to ILR query

Thanks for your response. My leave was granted on 16th Feb 2017 and my leave expires on 16th feb 2019. So I will have exact 24 months from the time my leave was granted. That will work? Additionally, me and my partner did start another company and had employee for 6 months as well. So maybe I can u...

Re: Tier 1 to ILR

@Meesha Senior members might be able to help here. Please help for the above query. Re: Tier 1 to ILR

@Meeeha

The last 5 years applies on your absenses.

But I suppose you have to list all countries where you lived in even if it was 20 years ago and give the reason (atleast that is what the question asks as per my perception) e.g for studies, work, moved there etc

Re: Filling Set O form

I ran a dummy application yesterday and the check list documents I got on the online form did NOT include the accountant letter (given I have not taken over a business). So it is an optional document for someone who has not joined an existing business.

Re: Tier 1 to ILR

I ran a dummy application for SET O (Tier 1 route) I can confirm: 1) The online form is pretty easy to fill and very straight forward. 2) It does NOT ask any questions related to finance section 5 (old paper form) 3) The only question it askes is “Do you rent, live with family etc question”. It does...
