@Sean2606 If you hear from the HO imminently or even within 3 months you would not be very unlucky. I hope you will hear from them soon. For SET(O) as I mentioned in the morning and it's only based on my own assumption, because their stay in the UK is on a work basis having dependants and they also...

Thank you very much for your swift response.

We will hold off writing to UKVI.

Based on what you are seeing, do you have any idea what sort of timescales we might be looking at for ILR SET M ?
@Ameline and @Ajitu92 are best placed to answer this.

Your visa expiry is irrelevant. You are covered by Section 3C once you apply in-time. Writing to UKVI at this stage is not advisable. You should wait patiently.

Re: Set (O)Application Job creation-

There is no requirement to prove employee’s start date with RTI evidence. That was the old requirement. In this case if the job title changed, best to just mention employee’s start date and job’s start date as Sep 2019 (OR May 2019 onwards depending when the new job title changed) and submit the RTI...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi, Has anyone applying for a standard Tier 2 extension got a UKVI delay notice? My wife and my son have applied for Tier 2 extension/switch on 28th August, IDV app biometrics submitted a week later, but a few days ago we get the UKVI delay notice. It seems all the posts here are on delay notices o...

I've uploaded all documents online, but a lot of these documents I have only in PDFs, like bank statements, payslips, etc. Should I still print them and bring on my appointment or it is enough that I've uploaded them?
No need to print soft copies and no need to carry them.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Suggestion: Since mostly all the appointments are in 3/4 weeks time, the best approach is to consider “self-submission” of documents to UKVI via UKVCAS before biometrics and save time.

Re: Advice on surname change before citizenship application

I would suggest to wait till you become British first. You will have to start the process then. First you will have to get the name changed on your non-British passport to get the same name on the British Passport.

Re: Clarification needed on few questions

I re-scanned the passport in greyscale and 150dpi (the minimum required) again, only selecting passport area to be scanned, pressing passport hard against the scanner. Got it to be 5,978,834 bytes (6 MB on disk) so just about! Not sure why so big in general though. Documents submitted yesterday :) ...

Re: Tier 2 General to ILR application

1) Yup. Looks great now. More than enough. 2) No. Soft copies are all okay. 3) First page only showing name(s) and address. 4) I would suggest naming the PDF file “Cohabitation documents April 2019 - April 2021” and keeping ALL documents in 1 PDF file in DATE order starting from April 2019 (this is ...
