Re: Approval via email?

Lucky him, I've seen that too. Maybe they will start at some point to do this now with all online system, although for now looks that is still though the post. Maybe he emailed them and they replied, but there is no harm to check your emails I guess.

Re: Naturalisation for under 18 years old

If the mother changes PR into ILR through settled status now, indeed the child gets it without having 5 years in UK if this you want to achieve, this wasn't previously possible through Permanent Residence (the child would have got it after 5 year in UK herself). Then after 12 months she can register...

Re: Document for parental responsibility for Children

As I said, birth certificate covers that if the parents name is the same as the parents in application, even the document is asked for separate. This is what we have sent and was enough.

Hi, no they don't. You just pay for the appointment and then the scanning is included, same if the appointment is free, there is no extra fee for scanning.

Re: Unsuccessful applications

What date is it stated on the letter that came with your PR card related to the date you have acquired Permanent Residence? If the letter says Sept 2018 then you must wait 12 months after. If the date states different then you need to wait 12 months from the date. Check the date on the letter not th...

Re: MN1 Online Form for baby born in the UK

I didn't have any consent form from the system as it hasn't showed up at all, so we wrote one as per instruction on the check list, including address, name and all details they mention, that we do give consent for the child to be registered. There are few details on your check list regarding what th...

Might be, we'll just have to wait and see how it goes. Not sure why they have added this 8 weeks phrase if they have decided to hold them for 6 months but time will tell.

Hi, you can try 0330-123-1199, it says on their website that
"If you have enquiries with respect to purchases you have already made you can use our enquiry form or call the non-premium rate number provided in your booking confirmation email.", and this is the number I have in my email.

Re: Lettter requesting biometrics after UKVCAS appt

Hi, this is worrying to be honest, we have an appointment next week, but as I have seen they don't provide any proof of submission of biometrics and documents, hope they will fix it and we will be able to get some sort of confirmation as I can't trust them now after I've seen your post.

Re: Experiences using new UKVCAS for naturalisation/citizenship applications

Just managed to book a free appointment at Croydon for 19 of December. If you tick the box to show you just free appointments, then scroll down through calendar, although as I said for me first available was 19th of December. Could have had one on the 6th but was not free, however I haven't clicked ...

Re: British Citizenship - New Online Application

I don't know how exactly will work, but it might be useful. I have used online application for EEA PR and the benefit is that you receive acknowledgment email instantly, payment is processed the same, and the most important thing, when you apply based on your circumstances is tailored and you don't ...
