Re: Slightly damaged citizenship certificate before passport application

Just apply for the passport and send it as it is, they'll contact you and ask for you to get it replaced if they want it replaced, but you have to pay for it, so might worth trying to apply before. And on top takes ages as well to have it replaced.

Hi, yes I had to. But for my application. Circumstances are different, all I wanted to say is that whatever documents they ask for must be originals.

Re: Registration Certificate correction processing time

Re: Registration Certificate amendment processing time

I have found some posts on the forum regarding waiting times for amendments but nothing recently, they are from 2 years ago and longer, and vary, I was wondering if anybody had to resend it recently. It's a bit frustrating as it's not a mistake in the name or anything, looks that they have included ...

Why you don t do it online? Payment is instant, same for confirmation, you are only showed questions relevant to you and you take a picture with your phone to upload. Very easy and quick. There is the option for secure delivery of documents and you pay together with the application which online is c...

Thank you, I have no idea how this works as we have never had any, even for this one for my mom was somebody's suggestion and there is no problem if they won't give her, she lives with us anyway.

Re: Application: required documents

Hi, you have to provide evidence for being here for last 5 years from now, not since you have enter the UK. Payslips are fine, I'll use 3 or 4 per year one for every 3/4 months, any letters if you have for any period will work, I have used a P45 at one point as I didn't have any P60. You can use the...

I see...thank you very much, looks that we have wasted 1 hour on the phone :). I thought as much although technically we are not British Citizens yet, I was hoping that having pre-settled status now for herself, they might asses her on her own, at least we tried.

Thank you, we have called them to claim and let's see what happens. They have requested some documents, nothing out of ordinary as ID and proof of living here for all of us, proof of working from us, this kind of stuff.

Pension Credit EU citizen

Hi, I wonder if my mother in law that is EU citizen herself and got pre-settled status can claim pension credits on her own right let's say, because me and my husband got british citizenship approved and we will have the ceremony on the 4th of March, so I don't think she can claim as parent of EEA c...

You can't apply for pre-settled status now? The outcome is pretty quick and you will be able to prove all your rights.

Re: Period counting for Permanent Residence - Proving it.

Why you don't apply for Settled Status instead Permanent Residence and you can prove it with 5 council tax? In Settled Status you have to provide documents to show your presence and you don't have to show CSI or employment for the time that you don't have it clear. I have applied for my mom providin...

Re: when i can apply for my child naturalization

Birth Certificate will cover that if both parent's name are on it and are the same with the parents names in application. They ask for it separate as well I know, but this is what we have used for ours and they have not asked for anything else and has been approved.
