Re: Permanent Residence Card Refused

Sorry to hear this and I think it’s better(if your residence card has expired) not to plan any travel outside of UK until you receive your PR, otherwise you will have to apply for FP from outside of UK and I could only imagine how stressful and costly it will be. Very nice of HO to refuse because of...

I you happy to tell here - what is your eligibility date was based on?
Five years from my date of marriage to an EEA citizen who was already exercising treaty right in the UK.

Re: How early can you apply for EU family member Permanent Residence Card

You are eligible to apply when you reach five years of qualified residence in the UK, which almost certainly is an earlier date that the expiration of your RC. My RC expired 14 Oct, but I applied when I hit my five year eligibility date (25 May) and so I already had my PR card in late September. So...

Re: How early can you apply for EU family member Permanent Residence Card

I waited till the day I reached five years qualified residence before I mailed the application, just in case they decided to use the date of posting as my date of application. I wouldn't put it past them to refuse it because "applicant only had 4 years, 364 days qualified residence on the day they ...

My route to become a BC - 10 year ban or not?

I would like to hear an opinion of fellow members about whether or not I will receive 10 year ban due to overstaying my visa? I came here in 2010 on Tier 4 visa which expired on 1st December 2011. Got married with EU citizen on 17 December 2011. Applied for non-eea residence card in mid 2012 and rec...

Re: EU & Brexit Deal

At the moment brp replacement card cost £56, so I think it should cost no more that that and easy 1 page online application. I guess you meant £65! £65 is a cost of pr application, but according to PM it will be “simple swap”. IMHO it shouldn’t cost more than a price of plastic card with a chip ins...
