Re: ILR main applicant - Can I apply for tier 1 dependant visa for my wife

Unfortunately, there are no provisions in 319D ( a ) to grant entry clearance to the partner of an ILR holder. This is because an ILR holder is already a settled person and I believe if a partner is applying for the first time as dependant then it should be as a dependant of a settled person which ...

Re: ILR main applicant - Can I apply for tier 1 dependant visa for my wife

I don't think so. Under Section 319C (b) (iii), the applicant should be able to apply for entry clearance as a PBS dependant. Relevant portion reproduced below: 319C. Requirements for entry clearance or leave to remain To qualify for entry clearance or leave to remain as the Partner of a Relevant P...

Re: Query on Section 12D on Set(o)

I thought so too. But there is nothing wrong in including it. If they don't need it, they will set it aside.
Like mine, I included a coloured copy and black and white copy of my PSW visa. They returned the 2 back to me. It's better safe than sorry IMO.

Re: Query on Section 12D on Set(o)

Just put a photocopy of your Tier2ICT BRP or Visa page.
I included a copy of my Tier PSW because I moved from that to Tier 2 and they just returned it to me after the application is considered.

Thanks Vinni. Sorry for the confusion. She is a tier 2 dependent and does not have a tier 2 general visa of her own. So, I guess it will be one form.

I understand my time on Tier 4 doesn't count towards the 5 years for ILR - correct?
Correct
Am I right to say that I'll be eligible to apply from the 23/12/2018 (or 28 days before that) or is there another date I should consider?
You will be eligible from Nov 25, 2018
