Re: April 2018 Restricted COS

It might be worthwhile to reevaluate going to the UK for those of you that have a chance to achieve a better quality of life somewhere other than the UK. The Home Office appears to have little interest in solving the current crisis and the current UK government have repeatedly shown they do not car...

Also refused due to not meeting the minimum points, at 35 points :(
how much are minimum points that you dint meet
As you can see from reading the tread the cut off is not known yet. Could be anything from 42 - 50 at this stage but from a few comments from lawyers 46/50 looks likely.

Re: April 2018 Restricted COS

So it looks like the cut off score might be around the 55 mark (or maybe a tiny bit lower if that 52k application was rejected and not refused)? People will say it's shocking but I think it's pretty much expected for a few reasons: 1. Everyone seemed to be eyeing April as the month to apply thinkin...

Re: April 2018 Restricted COS

To clarify - I know that applying for the certificate right now is stressful and that people who have been waiting for months will feel worried, afraid, uncertain, especially as time goes on THAT is understandable. What I’m referring to as ‘negativity’ is when people tell others ‘oh you won’t get i...

Re: April 2018 Restricted COS

I really wouldn’t read much into the the timing of the notifications (be that as a positive that some got news on Wednesday or negative that it was quiet the next day). It could be down to a number of factors - even something as simple as staffing levels at HO which we know has caused delays in the ...

Re: April 2018 Restricted COS

Yes, it does seem faster. Also if the person with 45 was rejected and not refused may be they are actually considering 45 also this month? This is what I was wondering too...or maybe they’re just rejecting any that aren’t valid first so they can get more of an idea of how many valid ones are in eac...

Rejected 45 points
Can you please confirm if its rejected or refused ?
Rejected , is there a difference?
Rejected usually means there was an error in the application/RLMT, where refused means your application was fine but you didn’t meet the points requirement.

Re: April 2018 Restricted COS

I'm applying for the second time, with 31 points. One thing that makes me check the RCOS threads only so often is the level of know-it-allness and negativity about this. NOBODY knows the precise cut-off until the HO releases it. Even immigration lawyers can only guess. Also for people clogging up t...

Re: Two job offers from two different Tier-2 sponsors

Hello, I received a job offer and the sponsor applied for a R-COS which was approved. We have not applied for VISA yet - awaiting results of my IELTS UKVI test, IHS and other charges not yet paid. Subsequently, I received another job offer with a 25% hike and a higher designation. Can this second e...

Now youve officially got my hopes up. Just saw my job on the RQF6 list. What does this mean?
Unfortunately all this means is that you’re in a job/skill that’s eligible for tier 2 sponsorship. Really everyone here should be able to find their job on the RQF6 list.

Re: April 2018 Restricted COS
