Re: False tourist visa info's impact on fiance visa application

Rtbb, I can tell you from personal experience that the HO do not read fully the information sent, they will not know, nor will they care, where you fiance spent her time when she came to the UK to visit. It is all completely irrelevant. Just apply for the visa making sure you include everything you ...

Re: Problematic marriage with my exotic foreign wife.

Please do keep in touch. Sometimes it helps to be able to talk with someone who you don't know, because you don't want those that do know you to judge you or perhaps you feel embarrassed to talk with them about this situation. It is always easier for someone who is not involved to say leave someone ...

Re: Problematic marriage with my exotic foreign wife.

I feel for you, it is clear you are a caring man who just wants give and receive love, but now you have made it clearer that your wife is not in the same place as you, it will be hard for you to do but honestly it will get better. Relationships are often complicated, but should never be unhappy for ...

Re: Problematic marriage with my exotic foreign wife.

I don't know your situation, so sorry if I am talking out of turn. Why do you need an extension? After 2.5 years, if she goes off with someone else, you can tell the HO and she will not be able to stay in the UK. After the first 2.5 years you need to apply for an extension of 2.5 years and prove you...

Re: Visa Granted After 3rd Application

AKKK123, your case looks straight forward and an appeal should work if you can submit the evidence that the HO says is missing. It is similar to my case and others on here, and it took around 10 weeks total to get the whole process completed, and a further 10 days to get the vignette in her passport...

Re: Appeal timeline for dependent married visa

Get a lawyer and get it done right. Make a mistake now and you will be back at the start again, and it is so much longer process and more costly from there. My lawyer was £765, and took the frustration of all the process away from me.

Re: Appeal timeline for dependent married visa

I believe it is 30 days to appeal the decision. If it is like my case, you register and pay for your appeal, and then wait about 4 weeks until you will receive a case ref number. Then you can submit your appeal evidence and make your case. Then it about another 4 weeks until you will hear whether th...

Re: Visa Granted After 3rd Application

Yes, it is totally wrong that the HO can charge so much for each application. Years ago my wife was turned down for a visitor visa because she could not prove she was going to return after her holiday. We applied again and added much more evidence (already had put in loads with the first application...

Re: Visa Granted After 3rd Application

Well done and good for you Y123m. The HO do everything they can to make it impossible to get a visa, you must both be over the moon now. Too many people on here try to cheat the system and that is why it so hard for genuine people to get justice.

Re: I want to bring my new wife to the UK for Christmas and New Year

DJWeeble, If I am reading this right, your wife is now an illegal immigrant / over-stayer in Germany? If so, I am 100% certain that she will not be allowed into the UK. But maybe I have just misinterpreted your point? If she is an over-stayer, then she will best to go back to Kenya and for you to ap...

Re: Travelling to the U.K. whilst awaiting Spouse Visa decision?

It was not my intention to make a statement that took the OP's question off track. My point is, do not rely on what you are told on this forum, as no one is a lawyer. I have been given completely wrong advice from a moderator, which worried me. However, to keep on track, when my wife and I applied f...

Re: Travelling to the U.K. whilst awaiting Spouse Visa decision?

IMHO both Amazonia and Iwolga are correct. It is perfectly legal to have two passports in UK, as many people who travel a lot need to get a visa put into their passport, while they are also needing to travel to another destination. But it is also true that when you fill up your old passport, and app...

Re: Spouse visa appeal

H4592 Your case seems very straight forward and if it is like mine or the others on here, it should not take 15 weeks to sort out. Re: Spouse Visa extension refusal

Hi, From what I can see there is a very good chance an appeal would be successful. My Lawyer said he would only take my case if he was as certain as ...

Hi, I was in the same situation regarding my wife's visa. I found out you can change the date, it takes about 2 weeks to get the process done, and as I recall it's something like £80 or so. I am sure someone will know the exact process as I didn't look into it further than ask my lawyer if it was po...

You stand 0% chance of remaining as it is. You cannot be married in the UK, since you do not have legal status to be here. Any marriage that takes place will not be valid. Besides, you don't even meet the financial criteria. There seem to be no grounds for you to stay. Go back to your home country v...

Hi, my wife is also from VN. Our Spouse visa took just under 12 weeks for the decision (a negative one, but we got it overturned on appeal) and I believe that your visa will take pretty much the 12 weeks stated, maybe a little less, but don't go hoping for miracles. There is no way to check either, ...

Re: Spouse visa and holiday

Does your annual income show more than £18,600? if so, it is not a problem. You need to provide up to date unaudited accounts or if you are a director complete a CT600 form. You need to also provide the last two years tax returns. You will need to demonstrate your work will be on-going too.
