Re: Coming to the UK

The chances of her getting a visit visa IMHO would be 0, so don't waste the money trying.

Re: Family ( spouse visa ) document

GMO, there are a million threads on here about what documents you need to include with your spouse visa application. Just do some searching, and you will find plenty of lists, it's not hard.

And read about CAT A or CAT B, since as Amazonia pointed out, only you know your employment situation.

Re: VISIT VISA Refusal - Girlfriend (PAP or Re-apply)

It does seem that since they picked up on one thing and refused that, that was all they want you to prove, but I believe it has been known that a new application might fail on something else. My OH also had an impeccable travel history, including to Germany, but it was hard for her to prove she has ...

Re: VISIT VISA Refusal - Girlfriend (PAP or Re-apply)

If you go the PAP route, it will take some time, 12 weeks I think is minimum if you get your case reviewed and turned over by the pre trial team, but you will need to prove your case 100%. Also, my OH tried to visit me a few years ago (now here and we are married), and she was in a much better finan...

Yes, of course there is. You don't give any clues as to what your skilled visa application is based on or why you did not get your visit visa, so no one can give you any sensible answer.

Re: Sponsoring visitor visa for parents

If they are married and you want them both to visit, then I expect the HO will assume they share the house and savings despite being in one person's name. But I would worry that there is no reason to go home, if they both come over. I really don't know how to show the trip costing them, there have b...

Re: Sponsoring visitor visa for parents

The application must show why they will return home, and so show that they have a property and other dependant family, your sponsorship of them is less important than that. Concentrate on that, making the case they have strong ties to home. The HO will also need to see that they have enough funds to...

I'm sure you mean more than £3 per night, otherwise you would have claimed for £6, which is not a lot of money.

Baba, He fooled you once, do not let him fool you again. If he owes a lot of people money, then you can be assured he is not returning to Ireland to pay them all back and risk arrest. He is smart, people want to believe that he will repay their money and so will give him what he wants in the vein ho...

Re: Do long-term visitor visa holders have to pay health surcharge? If yes, are they eligible for GP reg & NHS treatment

Quite frankly, it’s offensive to expect the British taxpayers to fund your foreign parents’ healthcare via the NHS. Why would you think it’s ok to do this? My parents are foreign, and when they come to visit me, or go to visit my brother in Australia, they purchase travel insurance. The NHS is spec...

Re: Family Visitor visa

The baby part was just a warning, in case she was visiting for that reason, and you had not mentioned it.

As for the proof of accommodation, then copies would be fine, you would not be expected to send original deeds.

Where is she coming from?

Re: Family Visitor visa

She needs to prove she will return home and can fund the trip. You're documents won't help her, since how much money you have is irrelevant for her visa. Show she has a reason to return, so her house, her company details, proof she has the funds to pay for her trip. Her family back home, parents etc...

Re: NHS Overseas Visitors charges

Your issues are that you can say you were not told of a fee for IVF, but you can't prove that, and the forms you have signed all state no free IVF, so the law would say you should have been aware/ had plenty of notification of charges for IVF. The law would also say that it would seem obvious that s...

Re: Assault while on visit.

Honestly Molly, and I stand to be corrected, but as far as I can see you have no way to come to live in the UK as it stands. Neither child can claim British nationality because neither of you are British nationals. You're not even legally married. I believe the HO takes a dim view of people arriving...

Re: Assault while on visit.

Hi, Please correct me if I am wrong. You flew over with the kids to see their father, on a visit visa, under the story that they would visit their father, presumably you are separated? You argued and he beat you up and social services have provided you with a safe temporary place to stay until your ...

Re: Assault while on visit.

As far as I understand it, you can only seek asylum in the UK if your life is in danger in your country and that country is deemed to be unsafe to live in so I would not expect you have any chance of an asylum claim. Since you are here on a visit visa, presumably you have a return ticket and can to ...

Was 4 written down and included in his visa application? i.e. did he lie on an official document, saying that your mothers are sisters, when in-fact they are not and he is not your cousin? Or did he just tell the immigration officer at the airport, and it was not entered anywhere? I'm not sure how m...

Re: Fiance Visa Queries

Hi, 1) The HO don't know how he proposed, it does not matter, don't mention it. Just need the evidence the relationship is real and that you intend to marry. 2) No, as far as the HO are concerned you are already his Fiance. Why wait to apply for the visa, it takes a good few weeks to get and also, i...

Spouse Visa Extension Savings Route

Hi, My wife is in the UK on the first 2.5 years of a spouse visa which needs renewing Sept 2022. I'm thinking ahead here, if I have £62K in a bank account in my name, and it has been there for more than 6 months, we could use this to renew the visa, but would the HO ask how it got there? For instanc...

Re: Deception and curtailment

It is obvious that she was put under pressure to do something and went along with it because that is what was expected of her. Now that the reality of the situation has hit home, that she might well be stuck in a loveless marriage, she has taken the sensible step to end it asap. The HO will not worr...

This sounds to me like you could very easily tell the HO that you were made to marry this man, and that you have decided that you can't continue to be forced to live with a man you're not remotely attracted to. You're seeking an annulment of a "forced marriage" to a man who is only after a way to g...

Re: US Visa for Uk citizen Suggestions Please

Did you do any research into what visas there are that you could use, before posting on the forum, because I don't think you have any options.

However, you do not say how much money you have, i.e. the value of the land you owe, and what investment you could take to start that business.

To board the plane, the airline will insist that she has the right visa for that country, even if you have no intention of leaving the airport or that you are going to stay airside, and not pass through immigration control. I am British and my wife Vietnamise and she needs a visa to go to France, ev...
