Re: Sister’s Visit Visa Refused

How can you be so arrogant Seagul? You are totally wrong about credit score, applying for credit increases has a negative effect on your score, fact. Often your advice is very poor and you give it in such a way that you are some sort of expert, and then when you are corrected, you try to explain tha...

Re: Letter received from first tier tribunal, but not decision.

Normally it states that it is within 15 weeks. You should have something which says that, but if not all you can do is wait. You won't be the first person here is wondering when they might be told something or what they should do next. The answer is do nothing until you hear. Do not bother to try to...

Re: Sister’s Visit Visa Refused

No, you will waste your money now. Almost nothing will change this decision now, and the explanation will be turned by the ECO into a way to try to change what you stated to suit the refusal and overcome the objection.

Re: Sister’s Visit Visa Refused

Having been in this situation, I would not bother re-applying as you will not get a visa now, sorry to say. I think the ECO believes she will be spending her money on the trip, because she said she would spend £760 of £933 savings for 11 days. Even if you now explain that £760 is what you expect the...

Re: Letter received from first tier tribunal, but not decision.

Which bit if that is not clear? You wait until they write to you and give you more information, for now they are acknowledging your appeal application and considering their formal response.

Re: Application and the Police

Yes, please do come back with the result. I think you should ask (if you can) your lady friend what visa she is waiting for, as you might well get asked the same, and potentially this might have a bearing on how much the police ask about her or need to inform the HO of your relationship.

Re: Application and the Police

Have you discussed what will happen with the police, i.e. gone to them and told them straight that you want to start a relationship but can't because of her fears, but obviously do not reveal her name? Tell them straight you do not want to do anything wrong, which is why you are asking. And also hav...

You pay it for her. She gives you the reference and log in details and you use your card.

Re: Application and the Police

Secret, that is a very good point regarding police, so much of Asia / Africa is corrupt. I got robbed in one country and did not report it until I got to the airport, as I know the police will arrest me for "making a false claim of theft so I can get a report number to make a fraudulent insurance cl...

Re: Application and the Police

What visa is she here on, you don't say, but you do say she is renewing it now? But honestly, not being funny, I have to say if I were her, I would also worry that the police will want to check her out and then go to the HO and ask what her status is, since they might see her relationship with you a...

Re: Visit Visa Denied

Well, in this instance I would not re-apply, you can't add any more convincing evidence. I would make a formal complaint that the ECO has not done his/ her job right. Email the complaints and tell them that you are not writing to ask for a judicial review, explain that you are doing a per-action pro...

Re: Visit Visa Denied

Hi, my now wife tried to get a visitor visa and was refused for not proving she will return to her country, we then applied again giving a load more details and addressing the points raised, and she had return flights, but again got turned down. Once you have been refused, your visa is likely to be ...

Re: Complicated Immigration Spousal Visa

I have no idea if this person would get into trouble leaving the US, if this person is Mexican, then I expect they would be able to go back through the boarder by car/ on foot but just not be allowed back. Just a guess, but I can't see anyone being concerned about an illegal leaving the country. The...

Re: I need my kids.

If you do get a lawyer, make sure he / she is OISC registered. Look on the .gov Web site for a list. But that seems rather steep to me.

When is the wife going to go back?

And did you do what I mentioned, and adopt them legally in the UK, that might just change the whole situation??

Re: I need my kids.

Therein lies the rub, without her here, they may well have to go back with her, and there is nothing that can be done. Maybe you could adopt them legally here, before she leaves? Not sure if possible, or how long it would take, and if it would make any difference, but have you thought of that?

Re: I need my kids.

My wife is from VN, hence the flag. I know they have very good work ethic and morals, I've spent quite a lot of time there myself. I know the cost of lawyers is high, but there is precious little helpful advice available from the HO, and your case is hard to figure out what the best thing to do is. ...

Re: I need my kids.

That is a sad story. Poor kids, abandoned by their father, and then by their mother. It's a good job they got you, but I think you need to get a good lawyer as this is one that you need to get right, or you could end up with a lot of heartache. Maybe, just a legal document saying she is happy to lea...

Re: Complicated Immigration Spousal Visa

A spouse visa has to be applied for from outside the UK by the person who is coming here, and he/she must legally be able to live in that country. So, he / she has to go back to their country, or one they can legally reside in and apply from there. But the marriage must also be legal, and if she was...

Re: I need my kids.

Hi, Are you suggesting that, if she just goes back to VN, supposedly abandoning her children with you, that the HO will have no other option but to grant them ILR, and you their custody? This is a plan that might just backfire badly, if you are not their legal guardian, then the govt may just take t...

Re: Visa for Ukrainian wife

In your covering letter, stating where you will stay, and a letter from her confirming where you will stay will not hurt at all. However, her saying she will make sure you return and be responsible for your actions while you are here has no weight, since the HO want strong evidence you will be retur...

Personally, I think that the word "insurmountable" means that, they will not consider those things you have mentioned, since they are not insurmountable, just a hard problem to deal with. However, if you have now met the financial criteria they refused you on, by providing the right pay slips, then ...
