Ok. Got mine today and I am also rejected based on not having lived in a member state before. This brings to light that you can't just live in a member state for 2 months without the proper paperwork in place. It doesnt' count as we were in England for 2 months prior to coming to Ireland and submit...

Immigrant council Ireland are very helpful in giving advice and on which path to take but not when it comes answers to specifics concerning the DOJ or applications Solvit are the people.

No this is just info from the Law centre NI it is doubtful they could refuse you based on holding a spouse visa for ireland but im not sure.

What's the difference? Northern Ireland is as much a part of the United Kingdom as the "Mainland" or for that matter, islands like the Hebrides or the Isle of Wight.

Unfortunately this is very believable and plays to all of our desires i sincerely hope for anyone remaining that it is true, but not all of us can wait to find out and it is hardly Just to refuse someone on this basis no matter how they may be overburdened with "nigerians".

Down the EEA family permit route. Some passports wont be granted entry automatically and some will if yours will the route i was talking about is open to you if a little didgy and in requirement of a huge pair of Cojones

Basically the DOJ has shafted us we either sit it out here or attempt somewhere else with only our home countries being a relatively safe bet.

With the D spouse you cant enter and Get the visa but the Immigration law advise centre said there is nothing to stop you just going in and then going EEA Surrinder Singh unless your passport will not grant you a 90 day stamp.
