Thanks Rosay36. So you only did the biometric page (containing name, dob etc) of every passport u had, is it?
Just the biometric Page you don’t need to include the entire pages in your passport.

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

I applied in Aug 2016 under the old application. Emailed them yesterday to see if any update and was told that it's in the advanced stage of processing, What exactly does that mean? I think it means that your application has been submitted to minister for decision. Once it back from minister office...

Is there a thread I could check here for documents they submitted for themselves and their partner from successful applicants in Northern Ireland? I could only find this thread https://www.im...

I had the exact same response from them. Apparently I’m in the final stages of processing and should hear from them in four weeks.

Re: Awaiting reports at Naturalisation department

I spoke to them earlier today and I was told my application is at the final stages of processing and was been handled in the normal way and I should hear from them in 4 weeks. I honestly don’t know what she meant by that.

Re: Naturalisation Ineligible

Thank you Rozay36. I was misinformed that’s why as I applied from Northern Ireland lol I didn’t know the rule is 3yrs marriage to Irish National. + 1yr continuous residence leading the the application that and 2yrs statutory residency. So basically the letter says at the point of application on 8:0...

Hi
Same reply I got as I also applied in April 2017 so don’t know how much time it will take :(
That seem to be a very long time though I’m 4 months apart from your application date I applied in August. Were they able to confirm what stage your application is at the moment?

Re: Naturalisation Ineligible

Hi Guys, I have just been refused based on ineligibility. According to the letter I’m 271days from application date which is due this October. Has anyone been in this situation before? When making another application, is it going to be a continued application or a new application? If it’s a new app...

Re: New naturalisation approvals

Yep - I received an approval letter last week! :) exactly 1 year, 1 month and 23 days after applying! I was expecting delays from the outset as I have some complexity in my case (already a dual national of UK & US so double the legwork for them) but have to say I was still surprised it took as long...

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

In my opinion I think it’s pointless contacting them as you will receive little or no information. I would suggest you still give them sometime. As they say “70% of applications are processed within six months while some may take longer”. No one knows you might hear from them very soon considering t...

I’m in the same situation as yourself I applied in 2017. From reading through people’s post her...

I'd say so! If it is further processing stage it means that they're only doing now the background checks on you and will send it to the Minister asap. It shouldn't take more than 2 months - but you never know...
