Re: Is BRP required in order to apply for UK citizenship?

You are absolutely correct in your understanding. It needs some evidence that you are free from immigration control for which you can submit the ILR stamp on your previous expired passport. Should be fine. BRP is quite a recent thing.

Re: URGENT HELP- Online Visa application

Any guidance please @CR001 ? Why are you posting under two different usernames? This is not permitted in the forum!!! I am very well aware of the rule, I did post few questions for my cousin sister from my id but then I encouraged her to do it for herself. Of-course by that she will read other post...

If both are friends then that’s that!
Yes, good friends for long time :) I mean, that's not a requirement for them to be a more distant relationship.
Distant relation wouldn't know you and your character, this is to testify that applicant holds a good character.

No. Exit and Entry on the same day does not count as absence regardless of the reason . Ignore it
Even exit on a day and entry on next isn't counted as absence either. The day you breathe in UK is considered as inside UK. I found it while doing my online application actually.

Get your ceremony done and then send the certificate for correction. Unfortunately you cannot cut the time it will take but certainly you can speak to Home office regarding this via email furthernationalityenquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk Citizenship.Support@homeoffice.gov.uk nationalityenquiries@homeoff...

Re: Waiting for letter for naturalisation application

You will need to either wait for invitation or call your local council as mentioned on your approval letter. Not sure if you can do it online as it suggests from your note above. Did your letter have any “home office reference” or was it just “our reference”? It was with HO ref which is your applic...

It is quite simple, unless there is more to what you described above. I wouldn't hire any Solicitor for this simple task (if you are clean). How about entry and exit stamps on her passport? She can prove she was in US until 2014 with number of documents or confirmation from US and for her visits cou...
