Hello guys, I am losing hope to get approval on this ceremony too. I am really devastated with the department. Applied since 2016 June and still waiting. After 2nd stage since feb no update. I really don't know whats going on ? I just wrote them a handwritten letter by myself.I don't think changing...

Hopefully we all gonna get approved in next ceremony specially those who applied in 2016. Just wait and see. Somebody told me its better to not to phone/email them as often. Just wait for the next ceremony.

Hello guys, I have been contacted to my local TD last year and he contacted the department and got the same reply. I don't think it gives any push to your file. All we can do just wait . Hi guys,

Any response from department who applied in 2016? Don't know what is going on? Does anybody know what they actually do in 2nd stage and how does it takes normally? Coz my app is moved to 2nd stage only last feburary. No news about 2nd ceremony either. Any comments would be appreciated.

Guys ! Any update for 2016 delayed applications? Does anybody knows if there is any ceremony soon or will be in November? Seems like department is not working at all on old applications and delaying for no serious backgrounds, It's actually very unfair the long wait is really painful. Any suggestion...

Hi guys!

I called them last tuesday and the lady this time gave me some positive reply. She said "your application is in final stages"and everything looks fine and you should be in next ceremony" when i asked when it is so she said i am not sure will be announced soon.

I heard about those investigations aswell but how long its going to be. They have right to check on everything but 2 years is more than enough time to make a decision. Is there anyone who is waiting for 2 years?

I am in the same situation tempec. It's really heart breaking the way they processing the applications. Does anyknow knows when is the next ceremony going to be? We should contact some wellknown barrister/solicitors in Dublin. It would help as a advised by my friends.

We all getting kinda like same replies and its all worthless. Iceice i applied since june 2016 so you can imagine my level of frustration.I am waiting til june after that i am contacting some well known barrister for sure.
