Re: Schengen Visa Query

I had the same issues because August is really busy I was told that there is a “premium service”, not sure what you called it in other visa Application Centre, I went to VFS in London. So basically I got the earliest appointment they had, I paid extra £60.00 for that. So instead of waiting for like ...

Re: Travelling to Europe with UK BRP/Settled Status

Can I not use directive 2004/38/ec at the eurotunnel? To travel under that Directive, you have to hold a current/valid EEA family member card with this statement printed on it: https://i.imgur.com/eP27cCN.png Your wife has to hold an EEA passport (any except the British) “Your wife has to hold an E...

Re: Schengen Visa for Non - EU stepchildren

My mother (who is a naturalised Cypriot citizen / previously Filipino citizen) used to sponsor me even I was over 18, the last time she sponsored me is when I was 23 or 24 and I am now 28. I’m going to Cyprus in August and my mother was happy to sponsor me for my Cyprus visit visa but I’m now marrie...

Re: SPANISH SCHENGEN VISA FOR NON-EU SPOUSE OF BRITISH CITIZEN WITH LESS THAN 3MONTHS BRP VALIDITY

I got an appointment to VFS in London You will likely be charged for going via VFS. Going directly to the embassy normally gets you free service as the family member of an EEA citizen, but the embassies of EEA countries have reduced the number of hours they are accessible directly or have even elim...

Re: SPANISH SCHENGEN VISA FOR NON-EU SPOUSE OF BRITISH CITIZEN WITH LESS THAN 3MONTHS BRP VALIDITY

When they asked you to pay for premium service, what is the actual reason? Is it because you are EU family member? Basically, I got an appointment to VFS in London for Cyprus tourist visa (as a family member of EU citizen) which is I know free but the guy on the phone said that because the appointme...

Has anyone travelled recently without a schengen visa but holds a residence card of an EU/EEA family member?

I hold a residence card (Family member of an EU/EEA citizen), my husband is British, I got my residence card through Surinder Singh. Last year I travelled to Cyprus with my husband and I didn’t apply for schengen visa as I know we can travel without it, no problems at all, I was questioned by airlin...

Re: Flying to Jersey ( Channel Island ) with no Residence Permit or VISA from the UK

Hi. I just arrived in Jersey yesterday for a week holiday, I only showed my driving license, no question asked. I am a non EU citizen who holds a residence card. When you say you dont have Residence card or any UK visa, how are you legally allowed to stay in UK? What are the circumstances? Anyway, g...

Re: Not sure if right place for this topic: Travelling to Jersey Channel Island, how strict is the airline?

non EU It’s like travelling to Manchester or Scotland I see. Never done domestic flight before that’s why I’m a bit worried (not travelling with husband, travelling with friends), i hate embarrassing myself so want to be ready. 😞 So the airline staff when you checked in didn’t ask for your passport?

Re: Not sure if right place for this topic: Travelling to Jersey Channel Island, how strict is the airline?

I went by Flybe with just Driving License. No check at all from Luton airport / Jersey Airport Hi. Do you mind if I ask if you are a Non EU citizen? I understand that if you are a British or EU citizen, you can just show driving license or any other type of ID, not sure if the same with Non EU. I k...

Re: Not sure if right place for this topic: Travelling to Jersey Channel Island, how strict is the airline?

As the question is about the strictness of the airline, it would help if you state which airline you are flying. When I travelled to a Crown Dependency by ferry, there were no checks by either the Border Force or by the ferry company itself. Thank you for the reply secret.simon. I am flying with fl...

Re: Surinder Singh Route Application Help Required Please

If that’s the case then I don’t think you should apply for residence card. Did you explain to the EU resolution about your situation?? If your plan is to use the EEA family permit to visit UK then do that, you can apply for FM through Surinder Singh route. It’s free and a very quick process. If you ...

Ok. I think I misunderstood the situation. Please can you tell me the actual situation you are in? Re: Surinder Singh Route Application Help Required Please

Had a quick glance of the link you provided, it looks to me that the application form is for the residence permit/card in the UK. So that will be the wrong one. Try to google “Apply for a permit to join your EU or EEA family member in the UK.” , that’s where you need to start. So basically, applying...
