Re: priorty service PAKISTAN vfs global

It's priority service but the website says it's not available in all centres including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Mirpur. You can contact them for details. It's a good option to avail but since it's not working right now, just go for standard application I guess.

Re: Spouse settlement visa from Pakistan

Send all the documents to your spouse in UK who will send all documents to Sheffield. You only need to submit valid passport in Lahore and take online application form and appointment letter with you.

Re: Returning of documents

You need that receipt with tracking details just in case documents go missing in transit. If you find the receipt, check the tracking details online, it will show some activity if home office has dispatched them to you.

Re: Returning of documents

Chances are you'll get documents back within next few weeks. Have you sent them a return envelope with documents? In any case, you keep calm and hope for best.

Yes, as long as these papers have your address and are stamped by bank, you're good. You could ask the bank to send you statements by post if you have time, they usually take 4-10 days.

Re: Wife visa after overstaying for 2 years - wife of a settled person

Hey you all! Any other thoughts regarding this process? Do you think we have good chance of having it approved? I'm now trying to deal with VFS Global and their terrible website. When trying to buy the priority service, it comes up with a different GWF reference every time and doesn't allow me to c...

Re: Wife visa after overstaying for 2 years - wife of a settled person

If it was me, I would not include her workshops/ informal courses transcripts and would not mention in the cover letter. Don't lie, just don't include in the details and skip this part unless it is already in home office's record, it might go against her. Good luck

Re: Spouse Visa Pakistan Help Needed

Ask her to take 2X priority payment receipts to appointment. They send 1 with passport and 1 for their record. Put one priority receipt in supporting documents on top of application along with IHS receipt. Write "Priority" on the envelope along with GWF number to help the staff know it's priority ap...

Re: Spouse Visa

Yes, council refers all cases to HO and HO will allow it if there is any pending application. Sorry to disagree with your view - my experience in these cases is to refuse permission to marry. A pending outside the rules application is not going to convince the HO to allow the marriage particularly ...

Re: Spouse Visa

I would suggest applying FLR FP non married partner route. Just before the application, go to your local council to register your marriage. I am assuming she still holds her valid passport with her which is required by registry office? If your valid application is under home office consideration, th...

Re: Husbands visa

This is the standard process. Now you get an email from them that your application is ready to be considered by an ECO. Next step is you or/and your employer might get a call to confirm your employment details. If they do not call, they simply make a decision and send passport with the decision lett...

Re: Urgent help!passport picture for UK spouse visa

You are right, they used biometric picture but there is space for a picture on the application form and they might keep a picture for record keeping. I think there is requirement to send 2 passport pictures anyway.

Re: Spouse visa application

Have you submitted the application, made any payments yet?
The address is visa4uk.fco.gov.uk
Make sure you don’t fill out a wrong form, a lot of money and efforts are at stake.
Best practice is to follow UKVI website, they have links to everything including online application link, IHS link, etc.
