Re: Children naturalization application

The return of passport is generally quick and in most cases it’s within 2 weeks. But one can’t be 100% certain as there is no fixed rule for returning of passport from department. I got my child’s passport in 2 weeks. Hopefully you will get it before your travel date and you did the right thing by w...

Re: Join spouse visa processing time (category b)

It used to be 3-4 months and then recently it was within 4-6 weeks as my friend’s wife got spouse visa in 4 weeks.
I would say your spouse (in Ireland) should send an email to INIS (visamail@justice.ie) with your Application ref number and should ask them.

Re: Children naturalization application

2 days ago they sent an acknowledgment letter with application reference number and today they returned the original passport.
Generally how much time they are taking for children Naturalisation? I applied for my child in the 1st week of August. Anyone here who recently has applied for their child?

Applied on 29th April, estimated issue date is 27th May, do they send/post passport on the same day or take few more days to post after the issuance date?

There is bus service from Killarney to Red Cow (Dublin). You need to check the timings so that you can make it to Killarney before 10,

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

No I didn’t send anything or any FOI, they even didn’t ask for any docs. TBH I don’t know or think of any reason why it took so long.

Re: Re-Entry to Ireland - Maximum number of days within which one should return to Ireland

I always have multiple re entry visa for the last 5-6 years and each year I visited back home. I was never asked any questions at the port of entry about the number of days. TBH can’t be sure re: the honesty and truth as per the experience of people on these forums. But that was the first time I got this answer.
