also on re-entry website: 'If you are not in possession of valid IRP/GNIB card due to first time renewal or late registration, you may apply for a re-entry visa without the card.' maybe this work for the naturalization case as well?
thanks for your replies!
i'm indeed on eu4fam and i haven't been approved with the naturalization yet, but assessing the troubles in the future now. So you'd say re-entry visa would work then even when i have a stamp and a card but tell them it's just in case?
cheers
they send the same templates in stage one and two, so unless you have a letter stating you're in stage two, you're in stage one, but then you can be in stage two for a while
Hey guys, can you advise me on the travel and visa options for a period between naturalization letter of approval is received and the ceremony? So say I have it approved, I send 950eur and my GNIB card, after this: -can I travel in and out of Ireland? (normally to board a plane TO Ireland the airlin...
Hey guys, I'm having a question about the name spelling in Irish passport following naturalization. I'm from Russia so naturally my name is written in Cyrillic. So far I've had 3 Russian travel passports and in each, my first and last names were transliterated differently by Russian authorities. Obv...
My only reasonable explanation outside of sham marriages theory is that earlier this year my eu4fam has expired and I’ve applied for a new one, which was set to be decided upon next Monday but now is being delayed by two weeks. So maybe they wanted Eu treaty rights dept to provide their decision fir...
called them this week, was told that everything is fine with my application (22 months) and it hasn't been submitted to the minister yet as they're sorting out a big backlog from before to be ready for the Nov ceremony. My 2nd poke via TD brought some new wording from their comms: As well as being a...
a colleague of mine was expecting to be invited for the may ceremony and inquired occasionally about his status, at some point they told him he got it approved, he said he didn't receive anything, they've attached a pdf to their email to confirm so he can pay and get an invite. I have an odd questio...
they told me over the phone that 2016 is in priority now, i've applied jan 4 2017 so also crossing my fingers This is getting ridiculous and a mere joke. People have applied for more than 2 years and no response. I applied in November 2016 & received the 2nd stage letter in June 2017 and since then ...
doesn't mean much tbh: "you're on the right track, all is fine, a huge queue of applicants before you, so relax and wait". hi guys received email today from Citizenship office . i am confused . please explain me if you know what does it mean. Your application is currently being prepared for submissi...
had a quick call with them just now - I almost laughed: "you will hear from us in the future" - "how far future?" I've asked
Anyway, he said they have a HUGE backlog.
Continuing to chill as no other option really.
I received letter from processing team 2 on letter they advised its now nearinh end stages and a letter will issue shortly i relation to application. I have applied in june 2016. What does it mean? Will i get naturlization soon?
my TD made an inquiry for me last Friday with response today, same wording, nothing new - we need to check that she's a good person, these checks take time, etc. sigh
not really: Jul 2017 (even before 2nd letter), same reply Mar 2018, May 2018, Your application is currently being processed with a view to establishing whether it meets the statutory conditions for the granting of naturalisation, such as good character and lawful residence, and will be submitted to ...
yepp I've read about Baltic citizens, none for RU so far but you never know. And November for the ceremony is way too far away ugh
My baby due in Sep will become Irish before I will for sure
also asked them about 'sham marriages' investigations and if my application is connected cause technically it fits: ru and de married in cork in 2012, even if i was here before on work permit. but they replied with just a standard answer and no docs are needed atm
I've been told about the advanced stage and being submitted to the minister, but then that's it's being prepared to be submitted, so I don't really know what's happening, but sounds as the minister hasn't seen mine yet
hey there, I'm in the same boat - applied early Jan 2017, got 2nd letter end of August 2017, nothing since then, I keep calling and writing them every week: one week call, one week email, nothing tangible. All the guys who came with me from RU or KZ to the country to work for the same company and ap...
