Re: Affidavits for approved applications and next ceremony

There is no harm sending the photos as. Photos should be taken within six months. Now they may relax this condition for the period. But why risk further delays in case they request for it again later

Re: Affidavits for approved applications and next ceremony

My understanding is it is for approved and some waiting to be approved as well. They are saying that fee needs to be paid along with submitting the declaration while most people who are approved would have paid the fee within 10 days of approval

Re: Change Civil status with Revenue

It is fairly simple to update revenue. You can do it on ros requesting balancing statement. But you will have tax liability for the years you have been separated as €3300 married tax credit won’t apply to you. So you will have a decent tax bill coming to you

Re: Card replacement programme: Non-EU Dependent of UK Citizen

All the eufam cards expired on 32 Dec. So she will need to replace her card but can be done by December 2021. So if she is expecting citizenship approval soon, you may not need to replace. But again nothing confirmed, they might ask you at a later stage to get card replaced as the irp card needs to ...

Re: chenchooliah V Minister For Justice - Important Judgement On Rights Of EU Citizen Spouses.

Chenchooliah is to protect rights of Eu spouse. If there is allegation that marriage is fake, you won’t be considered for Chenchooliah . You should try to prove your marriage is genuine.
That is my understanding and can be wrong

Re: Irish Passport Revoke marriage of convenience

That is why you need a good solicitor. You broke the terms of your Eufam visa. It is sufficient to revoke visa but revoking citizenship is not that easy. Example: you said you are from India and India do not allow dual citizenship. So if you have surrendered your Indian citizenship, revoking your Ir...

Re: Irish Passport Revoke marriage of convenience

You need to get a good solicitor. Provide as many docs as possible proving your relationship. Do not agree that you were not living together. In fact you should not reply directly to inis. Let all communication go through your solicitor. Revoking citizenship will not be easy for government unless yo...

Re: Citizenship applications from 2017 pending approval

@nad2107 Don't go for judicial review, (expensive and frustrating delays) just send them a threatening letter through your solicitor that you are going to initiate judicial review proceedings if you don't give me a definite answer in X amount of time. I am pretty much sure you will receive somethin...

Re: Permanent Residence Card EU3FAM

No. Both the EU person and the non-EU spouse can get Permanent Residence after 5 years, and this right is without any condition such as having a job or having sufficient resources. The only caveat is that you will lose your PR if you live outside the country for more than 2 consecutive years. Thank...

Re: VISA REFUSED - HELP NEEDED IN DRAFTING APPEAL LETTER

I think it will be very difficult to overturn the decision. You submitted application saying that you are sponsoring your studies yourself. You will need to show that you paid 11000 to your family friend. If you didn’t pay, then your application has false information as your sponsor in Ireland is pa...

Re: Missing info on proof of address for citizenship Application

It won’t be a problem as the point of the address proofs is to confirm that you were resident in Ireland all through. You can explain the discrepancy in address in the cover later and confirm to them that it is one address.

Re: British Citizenship want to apply for irish passport

British citizenship doesn’t lead to Irish passport. As she is 5 years in Ireland, she can apply for Irish naturalisation in her own right. You don’t need solicitor. It is straight forward application. You need to fill the form and send it along with supporting documents. It costs 175 euros at the po...

It says on inis website that an alternative ceremony will be organised on or before 17th April. This is for the candidates who cannot travel due to virus. Hopefully some more people will be accommodated in that ceremony
