You don’t need to fill this section. It is for Irish associations ie related by blood only.
Or by descent ie linear hereditary

Re: Ceremony dates?

There is no such law. Can you confirm please provide the link. Besides someone mentioned that last year Limerick ceremony was arranged like this in haste. Anyways I choose to believe it’s true as it’s been confirmed by more than one person and you may choose to believe it’s not true. We will find ou...

Re: Ceremony dates?

Guys it’s been confirmed by more than one person. So it has to be true. There will be a small ceremony for the guys who missed out in May ceremony and hopefully a bigger one later in November. It is also consistent with the info given over the phone.

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

My wife contacted our local T.D. for getting the update on her application. I did a little research on all the local TDS and we contacted the one who is very vocal raising the immigration issues. She got the same reply from inis that the app is in advance stage and the minister will make a decision ...

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

I also have been getting the same response since feb/mar this year that it is in advanced stage of processing and ready to be submitted. I really doubt it means anything.

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

The same was for my wife. She applied last year on July 12 and got second stage letter in a week’s time. Nothing has happened since then. For Irish associations, if you have submitted all the documents, it’s straight to 2 nd letter as the application does not meet residency requirement. It is on min...

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

I think they only start sending approvals near to the ceremony ie after announcing ceremony date. However someone had posted in one of the timelines that he received his approval in last week of may ie one week after the ceremony.

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

I am new in this forum but I have noticed that they have 2 or 3 responses and everyone gets same response in a given week. It could be advanced stage this week and processing next. Looks like they set auto reply for the week and keep rotating between messages and these responses mean nothing as I go...

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

Update from inis by email regarding my wife’s app
App is in advanced stage and will be contacted in due course with decision. Sounds optimistic but would not believe until we receive the approval letter.
App submitted in July 2017.
