Rules are rules. No point arguing with the moderator. Anyway if you want to confirm the info. Just google the name of the solicitor fighting this case and check their Facebook page. They have updated this info there.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.iris ... 3fmode=amp

The article says there is no chance the bill can be passed this year. Hopefully High court ruling in favour of the minister will come soon.

It is good news as they are working on your file and most probably you will be included in the next ceremony whenever that happens.

Re: Changing address while awaiting application number

Hi You can send them a written letter by registered post. They will send you the confirmation of the change straightaway. You can email them the change of address as well. But action is not guaranteed as they do not answer all the emails. But to be fair to them they did update my address when I emai...

Re: Eu1 application no bank statement

As litter said, it doesn’t make sense not to have Pps no. Or bank account if you are settling in a country. Just go to any bank and apply for account. Most countries outside Eu are considered high risk by banks. So in addition to your id and address proof, you will require evidence of source of fund...

Iam U.K. citizen and living in Ireland for 7 years. I don’t need to tell home office as U.K. considers cta acceptable . I’m surprised Ireland doesn’t reciprocate

Re: Proof of Address Citizenship Application

Make sure the bank statements you send have some transactions done in shops like grocery shopping etc. They don’t accept the statements if it only has direct debits going out because that doesn’t show you have been living in the state. Any correspondence from any govt department can be included. The...

Re: September Citizenship Ceremony 2019

I am still hopefully until they put something on website. May be the people who get approval before court rulling get invitation for Small ceremony like waterford ceremony. There is no harm to see dreams. The approvals given out are conditional approvals. They will not be valid until the oath taken...

Re: September Citizenship Ceremony 2019

The stages are not set in stone. The stage after second stage is advanced stage where the processing is finished and the file is waiting to be approved by supervisor and then passed to minister for signing.
One think that surely will happen after second stage is wait. Be patient

Re: Spouse of British citizen will loose EU4 Fam

I think what they will do is change her status from eufam to stamp 4. So her rights in Ireland will not be affected but she will need visa to travel to Eu in future

Re: September Citizenship Ceremony 2019

We will know in few weeks time anyways. But it’s a judiciary vs legislature battle and for the first time minister and department is on our side. I personally think that they will amend the word continuous with minister’s discretion rather than a timeframe.

Re: September Citizenship Ceremony 2019

Guys it’s not a new law created by the judge. It is the interpretation of the existing one. An Aussie applicant who was refused citizenship because he was out of Ireland for over 6 weeks took inis to court and the judge ruled that the word continuous means the full year and the minister never had th...

Re: Relocating while awaiting application is being processed

I think it could be an issue as sometimes inis requests your address proofs for the period after the application submission. The onus is on the applicant to inform them of any changes. You may send an email to citizenship department for more info. Thing in your favour is that you are relocating temp...

Relax guys. There is nothing to worry about. Even the minister has issued urgent statements and the new bill is being prepared with help from attorney general. They are still going ahead with sept ceremony as per their last update.

Re: STAMP 4 EU FAM HOLDER WANT TRAVEL TO AUSTRALIA AS VISITOR

Eufam has nothing to do with Australian visa. They will assess the visitor visa application on their criteria. eufam could help your application to prove long residency in Ireland. Other than that I it won’t affect your application positively or negatively

Re: Citizenship applications from 2017 pending approval

Although they send approvals all year through but bulk of the approvals are sent 4-6 weeks prior to ceremony. That will take us to mid August. I don’t know if the court ruling on continuous residence will delay the proceedings because minister cannot overrode the judgement and will have to sort out ...
