Re: Maintinance Funds - WHICH 3 months?

Did you ask your bank to stamp & sign the statements? or any additional letter? Hi there, I got my tier 1 last month. This might help you understand the requirement : I had a back statement for 19th March to 19th June and applied on 21st June. Its always safer to apply with the bank statement issued...

Re: Accommodation Proof - Dependent

If your wife will be coming to UK after 3-4 months, wouldn't you have found your own place by then? (since you will be moving out in 2 months). Whynot apply after 2 months then? It appears to be the safest and correct bet. But, seems you are inclined to file the application now with hotel booking as...

Re: Receipt for Tier 1 Fee

I was i a similar situation: The company wanted the invoice to be sent directly to them - which isn't possible. How have you paid? If Credit card - Then use the statement as a proof of payment & claim the fees. Debit card / check- Same as above. Don't think HO will send a receipt. Hi, My company acc...

reddy, Listen, I don't want to create a scene here (even after getting an abusive PM from baldude). This is a sticky & many follow this. Yes, I'm going to write to HO asking why when there clear guidelines stipulated, some are given priority by as much as 8 months. If you are so sure about what you'...

Re: Maintinance Funds - WHICH 3 months?

1) Have you extended your visa & got your Tier 1 by providing signed & stamped bank maintenance statements? 2) Have you come across posts here where the visa was rejected because they haven't provided stamped maintenance statements? It is satisfactory to show 1st April to 30th June, if you are apply...

Re: Maintinance Funds - WHICH 3 months?

It is satisfactory to show 1st April to 30th June, if you are applying on 20th July. This satisfies all three rquirements. To address any un-foreseen troubles, can you arrange until mid-July? I'm not familiar with ING statements but I had provided my bank's statement without any stamping. They are l...

Do you think I haven't told him yet? He just let the employer know his visa had expired and they terminated the Contract (he didn't provide more info on application status). Trying to sort this out - It shouldn't be a problem now. Do you think ALL those who have filed for an early extention are in a...

Re: Got HSMP -> Tier1 Extension

I'm following only the rules posted in HO website. So, is going by guidelines wrong? Did I delay my application? From what you are saying, it implies that - even though we donot follow rules, our application should be processed first. So, Mind your own business. This is like a Gunda talking. There i...

If you ahve 20 months of UK experience why haven't you heard from consultants yet. The reasons could be, 1) you are still far away to be called for interview. Temp jobs are filled in few days. 2) Your CV doesn't have a cover letter - explaining why your skills suit that job better. The cover letter ...

In my view, Immigration is not just about getting a job. Think long term, 20 to 30yrs - do you want to settle & raise your kids here? Don't view this as a 'cat on the wall' scenario. If I were you, I'd resign and come to UK and make this my new home. Don't have a Plan B, in that way you would put in...

The Govt needs to be tougher but they themselves are surrounded by many invoices. While so many of us have gone through pay cuts and job losses. The Unions are playing hard-ball here.

We have come across so many obstacles. 3 days strike is nothing.

Very good, let's encourage queue jumping & many will follow. Now-a-days, getting a Crodon PEO appointment has become much tougher than getting a H1B visa or a multi-millin lotto rollover. If by chance anyone is interested, it is 1 month before your leave expires. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/wo...

Re: What Does 15 Months Before The Application Exact Means?

It is any consecutive 12 month of the previous 15 month. So I guess, May 2008 will be the 15th Month if you apply in Aug 09. (Aug 08 to June 09 = 1 yr = 12 months; July 08 = 13; Jun 08 = 14 ; May 08 = 15th month) At which date in May 08 was the amount credited in your account? Do you qualify if don'...

One month UK experience isn't a big sell factor. There could be others who have many months of DWH experience and are readily available in UK too. Are you in UK or India? My guess is that you wouldn't want to get the funds out of FD itself and see if you can try managing with the amount you are carrying.

If that's the case - good luck. You will not probably.

There's a reason why HO states X amount of funds as maintenance.
