This is exactly what i wanted to mention here is that whats the point of writing the name at the back when we are uploading the front part UKVI haven't changed the online application to fully reflect the UKVCAS system. No doubt they will do so in due course. Before November last year the original r...
Hi Guys, After submitting my application online, the professional referee refused to provide his details. I have an alternative referee. The application form is not editable and in order to change the referee, I would have to cancel the application. As far as I understand, the application fee is no...
Problem here is the online form asks for referee details and GP would want to see a paper based form which i can give it to him so he can sign and stamp. Until i fill in the online form i cannot go forward in the application. I am thinking to take my phone with me and ask GP to fill his details and...
In my case, I had 5he referee form already filled dated and signed using the previous paper form AN Jun 2018 version. I simply submitted that along with other supporting documents. I didn't download the new form after payment online. It worked for me. And the supervisor at the sopra in Croydon said...
I have attended my appointment for document verification and biomatric on 25th Nov at UKVCAS Belfast. Due to low immigrant population the centre was empty I was the only applicant and the staff was extremely nice polite and over caring. Anyway they verified my docs and registered my biomatrics. Whe...
Your experience is the same as mine and many others. The UKVCAS site still seems to be "live" but there is no need to worry. They have a poor system of communication and do not notify anyone about what they have done. Just be patient, some applicants from December have already been approved.
Hi johnhkg! Thanks for sharing! May I ask what happened after you attended the appointment? We are applying a dependent visa for our newborn baby. We went to our appointment on Jan 15th and they told us things were all done and there would be 6-8 weeks before there is a decision. However, after so ...
The online application process will tell you when you can print out the forms for referees to sign. You need to input their personal data into the online form first (the data required is the same as the paper AN form).
is it possible to change referee after sending in an application online?the professional referee I found first agreed and gave me all his details and now hes hesitating to sign. What do I do? Firstly, for others reading this I think it would be better to get the referees to sign before you submit th...
Hi John, Thanks for your reply, it was certainly helpful. It does seem as though they check the quality which is good news. As part of my application, I need to provide a copy of my mum's old passports as it demonstrates my residency in the UK as a child (I am doing Form T). You mentioned that they...
Hi John, Thank you very much for sharing your experience. I am assuming you paid £35 for the Document Checking Service. You said that 'All documents had been uploaded by me the week before. Last Friday I received an email from UKVCAS confirming that the documents were all correctly uploaded.'. I as...
Hello all My application for British Citizenship has been refused. Reasons "We wrote to you via email requesting the following documents in support of your application for British Citizenship. We do not appear to have received a reply to our request and we have therefore decided the application on ...
Hi everyone, I have a question regarding choosing council for your British Citizenship ceremony. On the new online application form, it asks "Do you want to attend a ceremony in a different council?" Does this mean we can choose a different council to our local council to do our citizenship ceremon...
Yes I did disclose everything, even parking fine which I paid in time. Its not an error that you can apply for reconsideration. I'd say wait until three year are passed. BTW I don't understand why did you get the fine? I mean you were in passenger's seat? The only full licence holder while a provis...
Hi Everyone, I am in the process of finalising my application for BC. My 12 month anniversary with ILR lapses on 4 Feb 2019. I have the following few questions and would really appreciate if any of the readers can help: 1. When applying online, is the date on application considered the date I press...
I have an email from when I paid online from 12/11/18 not after I've been for biometrics, does the body of the email say : Thank you for your application to the Home Office. Your application has been received and is being considered. It may take up to six months to make a decision on your case. If ...
Nerazzuri - do you mind pasting part of the email you mention above, my biometric appointment was 1st Dec, not received anything since. If you could let me know what email address you received it from or paste some of the text i''ll search my mailbox again. thanks The email comes from UKVI and is n...
You submitted far too many unnecessary documents. Citizenship is not a repeat of the ILR process. One thing that has me a little worried is people suddenly mentioning proof of address. I always find this quite hit and miss in this country as to what is acceptable. I'm submitting my application this...
