Re: change referee after submitting application

Hi There, Anyone any idea how to change a referee after submitting visa/citizenship application. Many thanks. There is no official guidance. My suggestion is to white out the name and signature of the old referee and get your new referee to sign. Then send to UKVI with a covering letter explaining ...

Re: Hong Kong passport

I haven't done the passport application yet, but did they not ask you for details of any/all passports you hold in the application? Maybe you included this in your B(OTA) registration application and HMPO have access to that data? If the B(OTA) application is similar to Naturalisation, then this is ...

Re: Experiences using new UKVCAS for naturalisation/citizenship applications

Whether you apply online or use the post office, you still have to send your passport and naturalisation certificate. There is no ukcvas type service for passport applications Aah okay. So do they return the previous passport when they deliver the British passport ? OMG, sometimes I'm not sure to c...

Re: Experiences using new UKVCAS for naturalisation/citizenship applications

Hi Quick advice needed. I have filled in online application form (AN) and to support Proof of living in the UK I’m assuming passport needs to be scanned and submitted. However could you please clarify whether I need to scan all stamped pages of passport (to show entry and exit) covering last 5 year...

Re: Hong Kong passport

Hi all I became a British citizen in January by registration B(OTA) and submitted my passport application a few days after the ceremony. A few weeks later, I received a letter from the Passport Office telling me I needed to send them my 'Hong Kong passport', which I assume it's my HKSAR passport th...

No doubt they will do so in due course. Before November last year the original r...

Re: Experiences using new UKVCAS for naturalisation/citizenship applications

Until i fill in the online form i cannot go forward in the application. I am thinking to take my phone with me and ask GP to fill his details and...

Re: Experiences using new UKVCAS for naturalisation/citizenship applications

In my case, I had 5he referee form already filled dated and signed using the previous paper form AN Jun 2018 version. I simply submitted that along with other supporting documents. I didn't download the new form after payment online. It worked for me. And the supervisor at the sopra in Croydon said...

I have attended my appointment for document verification and biomatric on 25th Nov at UKVCAS Belfast. Re: New UKVCAS appointment attended

Your experience is the same as mine and many others. The UKVCAS site still seems to be "live" but there is no need to worry. They have a poor system of communication and do not notify anyone about what they have done. Just be patient, some applicants from December have already been approved.

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

The online application process will tell you when you can print out the forms for referees to sign. You need to input their personal data into the online form first (the data required is the same as the paper AN form).

Hi John, Thanks for your reply, it was certainly helpful. It does seem as though they check the quality which is good news. As part of my application, I need to provide a copy of my mum's old passports as it demonstrates my residency in the UK as a child (I am doing Form T). You mentioned that they...
