Re: British Citizenship - New Online Application

We made our application back at the beginning of December, uploaded scanned docs to the Sopra Steria UKVCAS site, and registered Biometrics in Croydon (with some additional docs they scanned there) on 20th December. It's now Jan 2 and the Sopra Steria / UKVCA Site is still open to log into, and let...

Re: Experiences using new UKVCAS for naturalisation/citizenship applications

I attended UKVCAS appointment on 23rd Nov, they were more amateurs & not sure of their software interface, I located scanner option for them in their software. I'm not sure how they will contact me about the decision on my application as I emailed them and haven't got any reply. Their customer care...

Josh, I did this recently. There was only one document required under "proof of application" category, which was my passport. I uploaded all other documents in the "optional" category. I had no problem when attending my UKVCAS appointment.

Re: UKVCAS Centre at Reading - anyone been yet?

Very disappointed with UKVCAS on this point. I submitted my online application on 10 December and went to UKVCAS website to book appointment for biometrics. There were no appointments available at Reading for the 14-day period visible (can't look beyond that). I can't believe there were no appointme...

Re: Returning to UK with Certificate of Naturalisation

And if you enter UK with your Canadian passport you will presumably (technically) be treated as a tourist and get six months with a stamp saying no work or recourse to public funds or some such, so I hope that common sense prevails and UKVI will not have a problem with this...

However, I still don’t understand why can’t they scan the QR code from your phone. When we did the checkin...
