Re: FLR (FP) Human Rights/complex case - any similar cases? What were your timelines please?

FLR FP Human Rights cases are always long and complex in nature. Surprising good turn around time for fellow member Amelia too, so that was a great success story. I think you do have a great ground based on your daughter's well being and best interest for the child, since you are the primary carer....

Re: Help please - flr(m) spouse visa cohabitation

Hi everyone! I have my premium appointment for September 28 and am stressing about cohabitation. I am living in the uk and married my spouse August 17. We then took a honeymoon and have now started the moving process. The problem is that her letting agency is pretty much useless - 2 weeks after sub...

Re: FLR (FP) Human Rights/complex case - any similar cases? What were your timelines please?

Did you have any legal representation for your FLR (FP)? Would have been much easier for you to get married in Nigeria and return to UK and apply as you were going back and forth their anyway, instead of now overstaying the Visitor Visa right which I presume is the case? Yes I used legal representa...

Re: FLR (FP) Human Rights/complex case - any similar cases? What were your timelines please?

Are you married to your partner? If not, I would suggest marrying in Nigeria (or a third country) and simply applying for entry clearance as a spouse. You are making your life incredibly difficult (and the FLR(FP) path is insanely expensive) by attempting to circumvent the immigration rules (as it ...

Re: Brp card cancelled

He acted unlawfully, the documents he stole from OP are not his, it is hers, and he has no right to steal them, prevent her from travelling and acting in this manner. OP can make a complaint about his stealing her residence and travelling documents. Well there we go. Definitely sounded unlawful to ...

Re: Brp card cancelled

So sorry that this has happened to you. However, I'm thinking your husband bullied you. I don't think it is right that he took your BRP card off you, first of. There has to be some sort of law against this, no? Do you know of any immigration lawyers out here in the UK who you could talk to about thi...

FLR (FP) Human Rights/complex case - any similar cases? What were your timelines please?

Hi everyone. Here's a summary of my case: Regular visitor to the UK since 2007. Never overstayed, never had any immigration drama. British partner and British daughter who has severe disabilities. Been doing the back and forth between Nigeria and the UK, but had to make a decision about her educatio...

Hopefully you get this sorted - all the best.
I have emailed HO, and they said they need to escalate my case ? And ask me to provide with a reason ?
You paid for a service which you didn't use (albeit due to no fault of theirs) and now you want that service to kick in.

Re: Switching from FLR(O-FP) to FLR (M)

Here are my thoughts, re: each of the options presented in question 2.3 as posted: 1. Option one works only if you came in with entry clearance as a partner of a settled person. Was this the case for you? You stated that you came in on a student visa. 2. Option two works if you DID NOT previously ha...

Re: Switching from FLR(O-FP) to FLR (M)

Thank you very much Kwipeh. Your help is much appreciated. Hope to hear back from you soon :) Have a look at this, I copied it from the HO website. You did say you're on the 10 year route with FLR (FP), yes?: "You must not use this form to make an application for an extension of stay in the followi...

Re: Switching from FLR(O-FP) to FLR (M)

I immediately feel as if FLR (M) is a brand new application. I'd say please be careful not to ruin your 2021 chances of getting your ILR. In fact, it's not a 'chance'. You will get it if things remain nice and dandy as they have so far. I think just renew your FLR (FP) and leave things be. It would ...

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Yeah I got that 'human rights, complex case, bla bla' letter as well. Submitted application May, did biometrics same May. British child, British partner. Child has always lived with me in my home country, but partner lives here and we did the back and forth for many years. Child has health issues an...

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

I would be shocked if it were 350. Surely that would be one month's worth of work at the very worst? I reckon 350,000. That's the only explanation for the length of time it takes the HO to sift through paper work, make the right phone calls, etc etc., and go ahead to make decisions. If the number wa...
