Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Great move! In the end then you had to pay the super priority fee for him only ? When asking for reconsideration, was there any fee for that? Our hearing is in May but I am now considering doing the same thing and try our luck. We have withdrawn my son’s appeal and went for super priority. Once we h...

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Dear all, Can anyone recommend a good barrister to act in our case at the hearing? I have decided to prepare the bundle myself and parted ways with my solicitor. Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Hi All, Good news are rolling in... Just to say that my friend's case has been approved by the judge after first hearing in Birmingham. It took 2 months wait after hearing. They are based in London. They were both born in Brazil and have overstayed their tourist visa for over 9 year now.In 2009 they...

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Thank you!

Can you share your experience at the hearing?

Can you share you case also?

I think it would be helpful to all of us since I am also waiting for my hearing in May which will be in Hatton Cross.

Thanks

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Sk10 Thank you so much for your reply. I'll leave you alone now. You've given me some peace of mind in regards to the solicitors/fees issue. It's troubling me for some time now and just the thought that they could possibly do the fee waiver thing and keep my money made me sick. I am not sure what to...

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Hi b52, You cannot find update of case since HO won't share any information. People have been waiting from 8 to 14 months for decisions. Some could be quicker, depending on the case. Have you been asked to provide biometrics yet? In most cases this would be around a month or so after submitting an a...

So 10, Sorry to insist on this but with the fees you paid, even by bank transfer, did you ever get an email from home office confirming the payment.? (assuming that you provided email address). Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Hi Sk10, Did you manage to request a change for your hearing? You said you paid the fees on 19/11. Did you do it yourself or through solicitor? If so, were you ever given a receipt for the fees you paid? (a home office receipt). Also, with your initial application, you must have paid a good amount o...

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Hi all,

I was just wondering something about the NHS surcharge.

On our refusal letter we're told that it would be refunded to us but we have actually appealed the decision.

Does it mean they will withhold the money in the meantime?

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Hi, I have a problem with these fees paid to solicitors then they claim to use it to pay the court fees. Did you pay the court fees yourself or you it all to your solicitor? I am aware that people can apply for a fee waiver and it doesn't look impossible to me that solicitors would ask us to pay tra...

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Hi Monz, you seem to be a step ahead of me. The solicitor should be sending our appeal today and we will then expect the hearing date next. As your appeal has already been sent, you will get it earlier than me, please keep us posted. I just needed to pay the solicitor fee for this appeal and will pa...
