Bank statement

This months bank statement is meant to have arrived today but didnt. This makes my previous months statement older than one month. Would HO accept a printed statement at the bank? Does the bank need to stamp it? I believe banks dont stamp statements which show address, would that be a problem? Any a...

Re: Tier 2 to ILR Refused. Please help

Hi all,

How does one check whether his employer has paid sufficient tax? I have P60's for the last 5 years and I believe they have paid adequately but dont want any surprises during the ILR appointment. I have checked NI contributions from the gov website and confirmed fully paid.

Tier 2 to ILR 5 years route - employer letter

Hi My employer has issued a confirmation letter detailing everything i.e. Needed in foreseenable future, soc code, salary ... and absences. Is one letter ok or it has to be seperate letters - one confirming the absences and one confirming the rest like I have seen in some sucessful cases? My tier 2 ...

Re: Does spouse require to switch visa status immediately after partner got ILR

Thanks Vinny. I have been following this sort of topic quite closely because I am in a similar situation. From what I gather in previous posts and also from the link you provided it's only risky for people who intend to apply using the LR route? My wife is on a Tier 2 dependant, she will apply for I...

Re: Does spouse require to switch visa status immediately after partner got ILR

Hi CR001

If the spouses Tier 2 dependant visa still valid why is it risky to travel in and out of the UK?

So my daughter was born in the UK when i was on Tier 2. In a couple of weeks im applying for ILR and if all goes well should receive the BRP a few days after that. I would like to ask:- 1. Re: Premium Service appointment booking issue for ILR (LR)

I am on a Tier 2 5 years and have found booking appointments relatively easy at midnight last night and 3-4pm this afternoon. There were appointments that hung around for quite a while before being grabbed. Not sure whether they make it different for different ILR routes?

Re: Premium Service appointment booking issue for ILR (LR)

Either I am a lucky one or they have fixed the website but managed to submit the online application at 00:01 (13th Aug) and booked an appointment on 24th Sep within 15 minutes. Payment seemed to have gone through fine.

Tier 2 (Gen) to ILR - Online Application Query

Hi all, I am currently filling out the online application. All makes sense but a little bit puzzled with this requirement paragraph:- "For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 2 migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules. For further info...

Re: Help needed : ILR by long residence applying as a tier 2 dependant

Thank you CR001. Am I right in assuming all of your explaination ONLY APPLIES if the ILR is obtained via the Long Residence route? My question was aimed at the 5 years PBS route; in that case there is no risk for the my Tier 2 PBS dependant to travel in/out of the UK after I have obtained the ILR ri...

Re: Help needed : ILR by long residence applying as a tier 2 dependant

Hi CR001, Could you kindly expand on this: "Your choice. No your visa will not be cancelled immediately but you should not risk travelling out of the UK." In a seperate threat I was confirmed that if the main applicant gets the ILR the Tier 2 dependant visa for spouse should still be valid. If it is...

Re: Date of Application of ILR

Just a thought... if the PSC availibility is very limited, can we not make the appointment booking first (so that we get the date we know for sure will qualify) then submit the online application?

Or it has to be online application submitted first then book the appointment?

Hi CR001, Very impressed with your speedy response. As mentioned in my post, I'd gathered what you said from other posts in the forum. I was hoping other members who have the same situation with me could share their own stories. That would boost my confidence a great deal in applying for my own ILR ...

Tier 2 (General) to ILR - What will happen to the dependent visas

Hello I will complete my 5 years in Sep 2018, my wife who's on a Tier 2 dependant visa will complete her 5 years in Jan 2019, our current visas are valid until Sep 2019). I am thinking of applying for my ILR first but, like you, worry it may invalidate my wife's Tier 2 dependant visa. Having read po...
