Re: Employment history quick check

Hello

You have to report your employment from 2010 to 2020 for this application.

Self-employment is an employment and has to be indicated in the application form.

Re: Employment Details

Hello

I recommend you see a tax adviser before you proceed. Your tax affairs must be 100% OK before lodging a citizenship application. If there is anything not right with HRMC, the refusal is a certainty.

But the problem is that she won't be able to board a plane back without the card. Also, I would wait to see the card before leaving the UK. What if the card is lost? What if the card comes in but has a massive typo or error? As a visa national, always ensure you have your documents in hand when you ...

Secondly, on the TB test. TB certificate has 6months validity. Does anyone know if we need to undergo test again before entering UK in case the certificate expires? The TB test has to be valid when you submit your application. It's not relevant if it's expires later. You don't need to do it again. ...

For example, confirmation of permanent contract of employment identifying my salary and the length of time that I've been employed by the company. Would this suffice? ...

The answer is NO.

Being arrested is not a crime. It happens that the police arrest people while they are investigating but if the investigation clears you and you are free to go, there is nothing to report.

You can't have any control over the time it takes. As long as your application is complete and you attended the biometrics, you just have to wait until they take a decision and respond to you.

Hello From the Home Office website: Applying by post is taking much longer than applying online because of coronavirus (COVID-19). Thanks for your response. Certainly I have time to check through these options but considering their age and associated risk due to travel, my question was more towards the possibility of having any route for Visa Extension. It is question of life / death, hence exploring for options. The extension...

I selected NO because I have never had to prove my knowledge of English. Save your application at that point. You need to prove your knowledge of English. Check this page out: https://www.gov.uk/english-language As you came under EEA route, they never asked you for proof of English but it's require...

Re: Will living outside UK due to COVID count in absent limit?

Hello, The UK never closed its borders. There are specific provisions / extensions / leniency for people who came to the UK and were stuck (such as visitors) because flights were cancelled or their home country closed its borders. However, for people outside the UK, there are no provisions as far as...

Hello You can watch this page in case they add an extra delay: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-advice-for-uk-visa-applicants-and-temporary-uk-residents But if they don't, there are no viable options to turn a visitor visa to something else from within the UK. However, we made our first application in 2017 whereas we received an email as case no Straightforward hence after waiting for good 8 months we decided to cancell the application.
Don't let this email scare you. You may receive it again. Just let your application go to its conclusion.

I don't recommend applying for British Citizenship unless you have 10 full years of 100% clean and compliant immigration history. If you apply before, 2 things may happen: 1 - They refuse you outright and you lose your application fees. You will be embarrassed in front of your referees when you need...

Re: Forgot to declare the INVALID APPLICATION in Naturalisation form

Hello

Here, you have:

1 invalid application
1 refused application

Invalid application can be considered as if they didn't happen. But a refusal, is another story. You should have mentioned it in the naturalisation application.
