Re: UK born child left uk, Can i apply visit visa

I am just trying to read between the lines. So you took your family out of the UK for a holiday trip and your kid doesn't have a residence and the wife's residence is nearing its expiry date? I don't recommend to anyone to do this kind of things. This is the best way to get stuck abroad while the Ho...

Re: Naturalisation :Lost my old passport

You need to go to your embassy and get a replacement passport before proceeding further. You can apply for citizenship with an expired foreign passport but not without passport at all. Also, when you get the British citizenship, the HMPO is going to ask for your passport in order to deliver a Britis...

unsure if I can put him on electrol register You can't. That register is only for UK or resident EEA citizens. He can't vote. Also, banks don't open accounts without proof of legal residence in the UK. They check that carefully so there is no point trying that. Do you work at the moment? What's you...

Re: Divorce after eu settled status( ILR)

Hi Once you have a permanent residence, your residence right doesn't depend on a marriage, work or anything. You have the right to live in UK your entire life if you wish to. There are only a few cases where it can be lost. For instance, if the person leaves the UK for an extended period of time (2 ...

Re: evidence for 10 year employment history

No payslips, contracts or anything. You just need to tell them where you worked. Correct. HO do their own checks with other government departments based on your NI number, which the form asks for. At the end of the application, there is a checklist of all documents you need to provide. Yes, and...?...

Hello For most people yes, but there are exceptions: https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/knowledge-of-english https://i.imgur.com/kJoOMj3.png Kids, adult dependent relatives, over 65, some countries... See if your wife fits in any exempted category, otherwise throw an A1 in the application for good me...

Re: UK Visitor Visa longer than 7 weeks

Sorry for that :( The Home Office often outside its support to clueless third parties. Te be honest, I don't know if the main applicant in an visitor visa can request his passport back. In one hand, it's unreasonable to hold a passport for 7 weeks in this day and age. This page: https://eforms.homeo...

Re: Implications of switching employer during sponsor compliance audit

CR001 thanks for the response. The existing sponsor license is highly likely to be suspended in the coming few weeks. If the existing sponsor license gets suspended and the new COS hasn't been issued then can there be any potential problem. Is it that the status of existing sponsors license whether...

You can contact them here: https://www.gov.uk/visa-documents-returned Follow the first link "If you applied outside the UK" Then you will get the option to call or email. You will pay for the service. You can ask for the return of your passport but keep the application active. https://i.imgur.com/U5...

Re: UK Visitor Visa longer than 7 weeks

There is no SLA for visitors visa :( But to be fair, I don't place a great faith on the outcome of this application. The guy who took your residence at the airport suggested that you ask for a visitor visa if are to visit the UK. This is a correct advice but in your case, I am not sure it's going to...

Re: UK Visitor Visa longer than 7 weeks

Hello Under what conditions your EEA permit was taken from you? It's an important question to understand your position with the UK immigration at the moment. If you wife left the country, then you declared the change of circumstances, that's one thing. If your wife left the UK and you stayed behind ...

Re: Can You get ILR revoked by reporting deception?

You can't bring someone to the UK and get him a residence because you badly want to. That has to fit within an existing immigration route and all eligibility criteria met. It's the same if you want someone to leave the country. It's not about what you want but what are the legal grounds available to...

This process is quick and much better. https://www.gov.uk/settled-status-eu-citizens-families tell him to apply for Pre settled status, I presume she is exercising treaty rights in UK and they both are married!!! As long as the EEA route is open, I prefer the EEA card then pre-settled status. You c...

Re: 3 year physical presence requirement

Thanks. I think it's really the only issue with my application. Nothing else in there seems wrong. I've previously filled all my online applications for ILR, and multiple visas and never made a mistake like that. I really hope they send me the re-dating letter. But I'm a bit nervous, as it can easi...

Re: EU Settlement Scheme from EEA Permanent Residence

Thank you for that.

I seems depending on how you apply, different options are available to you.

My wife applied and got "Settled" immediately on the screen. Then a few seconds later, an email came in with a CoA. So far so good :)

Re: 3 year physical presence requirement

This is a frequent mistakes. But usually the Home Office sends you a letter with an option to re-declare your application. This effectively moves the application date. If this is the only issue with your application, that's most likely what would happen. Here is a typical case: https://www.immigrati...

Re: Domestic Violence Whilst on Spousal Visa

Maybe you need to give away more about your specific circumstances. When a separation occurs, either of the spouses may report it to the Home Office: https://www.gov.uk/visas-when-you-separate-or-divorce This would cause visa curtailment for the non-British partner. That partner would have either to...
