You might as well go and collect it remember to take your receipt and a copy of your passport. From reading past posts some people get a call and there is no status change, other people get no call and a status change or they get both. Ring VFS up first if your worried, but I would go and collect!!!...

For Spousal Visa to the UK, you both have to be 21, this was put in place n November 2008.

The status should change to 'Medical envelope collected on' After the medical has been carried out, the results will be passed to the BHC who will make a descision. The status will remain ''Medical envelope collected on' until the decision has been made. Wait for a about 10-12 days then call the BHC...

I don't think that law has been passed as yet!

Are you getting an arranged marriage? You need to think carfefully here as you need to show that the marriage is genuine. I.e Photos & contact.

She's been here since 1979, on her passport the stamps says:

""There is at present no time limit on the holder's stay in the United Kingdom"
