Re: does BIOMETRIC card get TAKEN by UKVCAS

in the old application method, You have to send your BRP to the HO and once your application is successful they send you your new BRP. In the new UKVCAS way, you retain all your originals, that means your BRP too, which i think you must either destroy it or contact the UKVI to see what to do with it...

Re: Threshold for Tier 2

For switching from Tier 4 to Tier 2, you have several advantages, 1). No need for labour market test, 2). no need for the 30K annual salary. As a Tier 4 visa holder, you will be considered as a "new entrant". Now, you need to find out what the SOC code is for your profession (Appendix J), what is th...

If you leave the UK before a decision on your and BRP card, your Section 3C protection ends and you risk your application being withdrawn, as the new process clearly stated, and unable to re-enter the UK.
Thanks a lot for your advice. I got my visa approved today. Regards Pride88

Re: COS salary

It will be pro-rated but I am not able to do the calculation for you but your actual salary will be less as you are contracted to less hours. Are you under 26 if you are looking at new entrant rate? https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-j-codes-of-practice-for-ski...

Re: COS salary

For the SOC 2112, the source is the migration advisory committee as stated in the guidance material, so the working hours will 37 hours per week, is it not. In that case, I am fine I think. Please let me know If i am wrong. The source of 2112 is not annual survey of hours and earnings. 2112 Biologic...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

I had some spare time so have made a list of all the cases on here in the last few weeks. There does seem to be a lot more responses since middle of last week, so maybe they're getting on top of everything. This is not 100% perfect. I guess a few will have had responses and not posted in here about...

COS salary

Hi All, The SOC codes are based on a 39 hours a week according to the introduction of appendix J. I recently got issued a uCOS for a 37.5 hours a week. So, if i get a salary of 23000, does that mean i have to adjust the salary to the 39 hours a week level? Would that be the actual salary required an...
