Re: Urgent Access UK and Supporting Documents

Hi! We haven’t heard anything yet, no. I haven’t had a call neither has my employer. No news is good news, right? I’ve seen another member on here that paid for priority had their decision on Friday. They had their biometrics 5 working days before my partners! I’m hoping we hear something by the en...

Re: Similar stage

I’d allow it the 30 days at the very minimum, as priority should take around 6 weeks (as opposed to 12 weeks for non-priority). We’ve paid for a priority service and I’m not really expecting much before that, I emailed more out of curiosity. Just sit tight! Yes thats true I suppose Post an update w...

Re: Similar stage

My partner applied on 23/6 and biometrics 24/6. Emailed yesterday and ours is awaiting a decision.

Have you tried using the email service for an update? Some have reported that they have not received this email and still had successful applications.

Re: Employment Letter

Although there is no requirement for the letter to be dated within 28 days of the application date, I would recommend not using it. The UKVI may contact your employer to confirm your details. If they do and they disclose that you are either serving your notice / you have left, think how this would l...

Re: Urgent Access UK and Supporting Documents

Hi is it mandatory to get passport attested? Also the application page from biometrics appointment was this signed and scanned or posted to you? Thanks Hi I think I saw your comment on another post and you asked about appendix 2 but it’s locked. Did you manage to find out if it was required? Thanks...

Re: Urgent Access UK and Supporting Documents

I have seen some applicants using ACCESS UK requested to submit appendix 2 and its also part of the checklist so I will definitely submit one as well as HO have not come out to say APPENDIX 2 is not needed any longer. I was advised by the UKVI helpline and Immigration Adviser that if it’s not liste...

Re: Urgent Access UK and Supporting Documents

My partner submitted his application last night and I attended the VFS Centre in Shoreditch, London today to submit the supporting documents. Walk in and advise you are there for the scanning service. You will be given a ticket and expected to wait (approx. 2hrs). I would advise going first thing. ...

When to submit documents?

Hi, We’ve finally submitted our application (thanks for all the help!) online today in Shanghai. We have all the documents ready but my partner is unable to book an appointment until 25th July so I’m not sure when we need to visit the VFS centre to have the documents scanned in? Was sure I read some...

Re: Help - Landlord Letter Template

Thanks,

My Tenancy Agreement has my landlord and his wife listed as landlords (both with different surnames), but letter only references one landlord and one signature.

Not sure if this would be a problem?

Re: Two Jobs - Meeting the Financial Requirement

Thanks, Seagul. Would they not pick up on the additional amounts from my second employer on my bank statement?

Also - any suggestions how I would deal with a raise in pay (raise in January and March)? Would I just use the lower salary, pre-raise?

Thanks again.

Two Jobs - Meeting the Financial Requirement

Hi All, I am hoping someone can help me on this point. I have two jobs, one of which is F/T and salaried and the other which is P/T and paid hourly. My salaried employment is over 2x the threshold. My question is would they (UKVI) still require my P/T employment payslips? My P/T employment is for a ...

Evidence of intent to marry

Hi Guys, This forum has been invaluable throughout this process and I’m grateful for everyone’s help. I have a couple of additional questions. So. I have a registrar and venue booked for our civil partnership, have bought wedding rings (no engagement rings - being same sex, it’s nonsensical to have ...

Live-in Landlord

Hi All, Looking for some further advice, please. What are the implications of having a live-in Landlord and meeting the accommodation requirement? Of course I’d need a property report, but would there be an issue as I wouldn’t have an AST agreement? I would have a lodgers agreement for a fixed term ...

Re: Accommodation Requirement - Bedroom Sizes

Great. Thanks for the advice, seagul. My partner moved in with us when he was here on Tier 2 visa, so they are all absolutely fine with this. One is moving out 4th April and we will be submitting our application after this date, when we are a house of 3. There is no deception? The Tenancy Agreement ...

Accommodation Requirement - Bedroom Sizes

Evening All, After some guidance on the accommodation requirements. I am living in a tenanted property which has, at present, 4 tenants. One is moving out and I shall be taking their room on as well as mine so that the number of tenants (once my partner arrives) is below 4, out of HMO scope (the cos...
