I once contacted my local TD (Dublin city centre north) about a local matter via email, and received the initial response in a day. My TD actively contacted the local Garda and followed up with them and me a few times to get it resolved in a timely manner. Not sure if all TD’s are like that though....

For the last ceremony (26/11/2018) the approvals came out around 22/10 or 35 days before the ceremony. I heard that every TD is paid to run a local office in their constituency, where they are supposed to listen to people's issues. FOI can be used in the court. In my case after ticking all points they left my case there for a year without touching.

As no ceremony date is published I don't think that people will get approvals now.

It could be that there are thousand of approvals from last round.

We 'may' get approvals but ceremony could be difficult.
