Re: Citizenship delays: FOI and an application for an Order for Mandamus via the High Courts

I think if many people apply to the JR, Department of INIS will be under pressure to reply to the court that is why they will grant citizenship applications to everyone.

Just many people should apply ASAP

Re: Citizenship applications from 2017 pending approval

If they compromised on your case they must give a decision within the time period they requested to have. They can’t mess with the Courts. Well they already messed up with the court agreement case , and they still don’t care to reply our letters anymore Paddy do you have an update on your side?

Re: Citizenship applications from 2017 pending approval

Guys

I would appreciate if anyone can give us some indication on fee of JR?
How much cost approx? if we win we still pay for it?
It was a mistake to wait for 4 years at this stage.

Re: Citizenship applications from 2017 pending approval

Hi Guys, In my personal opinion if we are not getting approval because DOJ think that our marriages or situations are fraud.
Contacting TDs, Sending email to Department or calling them is not helping at all
Looks like we have to wait

Re: TD PQ

I once contacted my local TD (Dublin city centre north) about a local matter via email, and received the initial response in a day. My TD actively contacted the local Garda and followed up with them and me a few times to get it resolved in a timely manner. Not sure if all TD’s are like that though....

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

For the last ceremony (26/11/2018) the approvals came out around 22/10 or 35 days before the ceremony. That would mean for ceremony on 29/4/2019 the approvals would be out on 25/3... so still a couple of weeks to wait. Hi guys!! I dont see any hope to get approval for this ceremony on 29th. God kno...

I heard that every TD is paid to run a local office in their constituency, where they are supposed to listen to people's issues. As a constituent, you should raise your concern to your representative. Please book a clinic with the Minister by calling his local office (details below) and raise yours...
