Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

Jamalk thank you so much for sharing this great post with us. If I won't get the decision within 2 months I am sure I will take the same route. I have requested a copy of my file under FOI but after 2 weeks I still did not get the copy. Any of you knows how long it takes them to send me the copy?

This TD that I will meet he accused the minister being a dearly beloved and Not foreigner friendly person. Lets hope that our voice will arri...

Re: Citizenship applications from 2017 pending approval

I wouldn’t waste my time to be quite honest. We’ve been waiting over 1 year and 7 months and many people on here are getting their approvals within months.. I don’t know if it’s a filtering process depending on which country the applicant is from (my wife’s from Philippines), EU family seem to be g...

Re: Citizenship applications from 2017 pending approval

Re: EMERGENCY !! ENTRY DENIED AT DUBLIN FERRY PORT TODAY

The fact that you took ferry from UK it was not a clever move. If your husband holds EEA Family Permit you can enter via airports with no issues. Here is my suggestion ; write an email to immigration in Dublin about your situation. They will come back. To you within 5 days. Meanwhile do not worry th...

Re: I (Irish national) want to move to Ireland with my Thai spouse from UK (she has an EEA family permit)

No actually she doesn't need visa. She can enter with you with showing her Eea family permit and marriage certificate. http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/non-visa-short-family-eu Chck this link. But one small advise, I would not tell them that you are moving here in Ireland. Just tell them that yo...

Re: I (Irish national) want to move to Ireland with my Thai spouse from UK (she has an EEA family permit)

Many of my friends worked here and then they have applied to. Bring their wife. It took them sometime 6 months. In some cases were even 2 years but this is unusual. I think she can enter to Ireland with you. Probably she will have initial visa with you (1 month to 3 months) then you can find a job a...

Hi Darragh, I assume that you have Irish passport. There should be no problem for you and for your spouse to move to Ireland. Obviously Irish Immigration Officers to be able to give her a Stamp 4 visa they will ask your financial sources in the country. You will need a job, bank account, some bills ...

Re: EU Retention Application Refused

Man your case is very tricky, I would actually consult a solicitor if I was in you. In my opinion your citizenship would be delayed very long because of this reason. Anyway the answer for your newborn baby, yes he can considered as Irish. You need to proof that you are here legally 4 years with proo...

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

I certenly understand that Citizenship is privilege not a right. However, the point that you missing is that we are not anxious about getting approval.. The case is that we deserve a respond within 1 year yet the usual time frame is 6 months. Most of the people a definete answer within 6 months or m...
