Re: Next Ceremony 26th November at Killarney

M7edShin My advice to you at this time would be just to wait. Your application hasn't reached the second stage yet and until then there is not much you can do apart from waiting. I know there's a ceremony looming around but there's nothing really you can do to speed things up. in fact if you look ov...

Re: Irish citizenship application

What is the basis of your application? non-eu or eu?
seems to me that your application is still in the first stage. The only thing you can do right now is just to be patient I'm afraid

Re: Phone line

@missstamper most of the applicants who are taking longer are non-EU with the vast majority being EUFAM applicants as you can read here https://www.immigrationboards.com/ireland/delay-in-citizenship-application-t246135.html the fact that you’re an EU citizen clearly tells me that there must be somet...

Re: What Original Documents do I need to send?

What are you applying for? Citizenship or a visa? If it's citizenship then I think the form is pretty much self explanatory. Also this thread ireland/irish-citizenship-application-f ... 60466.html may help you

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

Dear All, Would anyone explain what is the meaning of advanced stage in the citizenship application. Since 3 months and whenever I ask about my application I am told is at advanced stage. I am keen to know what does that mean and how long it could stay in this stage. When did you apply @syjem? Also...

Meaning of a letter from Citizenship Department

Hello, I applied for naturalisation over a year ago and 3 weeks after finally receiving my second stage letter, in which they confirmed that my application has now been initially assessed and moved on to the second stage of the processing, I received a letter from Citizenship department with the fol...

Re: Naturalisation application and passport return

The same thing also happened to me as well. They returned my old passports with the second stage letter 8 months after I applied. In my case, I have a long travel history so I can only guess that they're checking all the stamps in those passports.

Re: 10 Months and No Second Stage Letter

Also, having a big travel history can result in delays in processing your application as they need to check all the stamps in your previous and current passports to ensure that you've met the conditions of your visa.

Re: Travel outside country after submitting GNIB for Citizenship

A few people on this forum have mentioned that they're able to re-enter the country with the original approval letter and their re-entry visa. I personally a student who enter into the state by just showing the receipt of the IRP card and the stamp in his passport. So I don't think it's a big deal a...

Re: Visit Visa Parents Question.

I think it would be better to say that they will be staying at your place. All you need to do is to include a signed letter from your landlord stating that he is happy with that. Obviously, there is no mention about you staying in a one-bedroom accommodation. Obviously when your parents have been gr...
