Re: An approval letter and GNIB expiry

I got an approval letter for Irish citizenship on 08/01/20. They asked to submit €950 and the GNIB card if wish to be included in the next ceremony which is taking place on 02/03/20. Unfortunately, my GNIB will expire on the 06/02. Should I send it without renewal? Hi Mohamed, When did you original...

Re: Naturalization application after 5 years residence

She can apply for citizenship based on Irish Associations. This would reduce the requirement to 3 years. However, it will be up to the minister to decide whether the 'association' is strong enough. Since it's just 3 more months till April, I would strongly recommend that she applies based on her ow...

Re: Citizenship applications from 2017 pending approval

Yes got approval this week. After multiple email enquiries, a couple of TD letter and finally a solicitors letter.
Applied oct 2017.

Good luck to you and everyone else on here. Id advise you to make a move with a TD or solicitor otherwise your leaving it down to the mercy of a short staffed INIS.

Contact a solicitor which specializes in immigration and naturalization ASAP and ask them to send a letter querying the application. This has produced some last minute approvals

MY application has been ongoing for 2.5 years, I email for an update every 3 months, I get the same copy and paste email that I have copied below. The last time I emailed was 1 week ago and got the same respon...

Re: What if I can't pay when they ask for the €950?

Hi, For a personal emergency I had to use the €950 I had earmarked for my citizenship fee. I believe my application is still a long way off, I have a receipt but no reference number. If they ask and I don't have the money for another 6 months, will it be put on hold? Or will I have to start all ove...

Re: Private medical insurance and EU3 application

Hi - Can you please share the link where you are reading requirements for Medical Insurance? I would imagine that non-EU citizen required medical insurance not EU-Citizen. I may be wrong as well hence requesting for the link please. http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/form-EUTR3.pdf/Files/form-EUTR3.pdf...

Has the home office contacted you in anyway e.g..email or phone call? 2. Have you recieved the eco considering your application email? 3. How many w...

Re: Next citizenship ceremonies will be in Spring 2020

Just a joke seeing people who applied in 2019 getting approved when a straight forward application like mine has been pending since 2017, can’t wait for the 2020 applicants to start rolling through also. This naturalization department is one big joke.

Re: Permanent Residency from EUFAM Stamp 4 after 5 years. Is it continuous?

Regarding EU3 applications after the 5 years, Apparently if the EU citizen is studying in any part of those 5 years you must have private medical insurance. I only found this out now, I was studying for the first year out of the five and did not have medical insurance. Anyone know if the EU3 applica...
