Re: Tier 2 Dependent to ILR applying for NARIC query

You can go for B1 certificate from approved test centers - list of centers can be found on gov.uk website. This option is much easier than NARIC and costs the same as getting a NARIC certificate (£150).

You will avoid all the confusions regarding NARIC certificate.

Re: ILR received! Experience of Croydon Centre

Hi passat in addition to above question, in your list of documents, what is representation letter? Representation letter, as due to my frequent travel history, all of it could not be captured on the online set O form and I had to attach a separate letter also, did your document checklist include the...

Re: ILR received! Experience of Croydon Centre

Thanks for your reply.

However, if you had made trips to other countries, what answer did you give for the following question under immigration details:

Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK including your country of birth?

Re: Submitted Online Form today - have I applied to early?

Hi Sakthi

Many congratulations for getting the ILR.

I have a question:

Did you fill up online set(O) form?

If yes, was there a question regarding countries lived in/visited before coming to UK?

If yes, did you live in or visit any country other birth country? If yes, did you make entry for that?

Re: Successful application for ILR under Tier 2, only one month bank statement supplied

Hi Congratulations!!! When you say passport pages having UK arrival stamps, does it mean when you came initially only that stamp or stamps of every trip outside UK you would have made after coming to UK? Old passport - did it contain your UK tier 2 general visa? Had you been to other countries on sh...

Re: Online Set(O) - declaration form

For your declaration, will you use family_consent.pdf and sign its part 1? In our case, do you think we should submit family_consent.pdf twice? once, part 1 singed by me and part 2 by my wife? <for the consent for joint accounts> twice, part 1 - signed only by me? for the declaration signed by <main...

Re: Latest Bank statement not available before application

What I did was - call up the bank and ask them to post the statement until 21st Dec from 7th Dec as my salary was paid into account on 20th Dec. Hope this is correct? Earlier statements were also posted dated 7th Nov to 7th Dec, 7th Sep to 7th Nov - which I am submitting along with the above stateme...

Re: ILR - add countries before coming to UK

Purpose of 3 months in USA was visiting a client for training on their product and requirements gathering for further work on their product. You have suggested to ignore 'visited' stuff - in my view, just like it does not matter how many times one has been away from UK during qualifying period, one ...

It's another matter when you click add above, it again asks for the countries where you have lived in....

Which, in combination, is making it quite confusing.

When you enter details in the above form, save it and return to main page of the main applicant, it asks exactly this:

Re: ILR - add countries before coming to UK

Yes, it is set(O)

It does ask:

Add another country the applicant has visited or lived in - no matter how long you have lived there.

I recall you submitted your application recently. What was your situation i.e. did you visit another country before coming to UK?

Thanks

ILR - add countries before coming to UK

Dear board For the question in ILR form: 'Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK including your country of birth?' I have listed India from birth to the date I came to UK on tier 2. It further says to add: Add another country the applicant has visited or lived in - no matter how long ...
