I applied since December 2017 and got my first letter which is acknowledgement letter on the 2nd of January 2018. Re: Citizenship applications from 2017 pending approval

Hello Guys, I am on the same boat as you since Nov 2017 and not sure why applications on late 2018 got approvals and already invited into the coming ceremony while a lot of us in 2017 have never heard from them. Something dodgy something weird or there is some sort of discrimination that some people...

Re: Stamp4EUFAM Free movement

I am a stamp4eu fam and I've travelled a good few eu country without a visa on my own and I never had any problem. Many countries are very relaxed when it comes to EU Treaty rights, but that doesn’t make it right. And if you are stopped by an immigration officer you would have a lot of trouble trav...

Re: Stamp4EUFAM Free movement

I am a stamp4eu fam and I've travelled a good few eu country without a visa on my own and I never had any problem. Funny part is, in the very beginning when I came to Ireland and got that EUFAM GNIB, I even did not bother reading the rules and thought that I am allowed to travel to any EU country a...

I emailed the German embassy out of the curiosity to know, here what they emailed back: Dear Mr *****, if you hold a GNIB card stamp 4 EuFam card, you will not require a visa if you are travelling with your wife together. We would recommend to carry your marriage certificate while travelling as proo...

Re: Citizenship applications from 2017 pending approval

It feels that they do not have a process by reading comments from here and there, some people gets 2nd stage letter, some people do not and get to approved and ceremony right away. It's really luck thing. I have applied for it on November 2017 and got my acknowledge and reference number in 2 weeks ...

Re: First Ceremony of 2019

I applied in May 2018 and got the approval in Sep. There was no issues. Just hoping the next ceremony will be advertised soon. Your lucky then because it is never that quick, it takes up to 6 months to process a straight forward application (Which is not true as there is no definition of what strai...

Received my approval in September. however the ceremony in November was full.
Hoping we get it in the first quarter of 2019.
When did you apply? How long did the whole process take?

If you do not mind share your experience and any issues you faced.

Thanks

Re: Next Ceremony 26th November at Killarney

There is nothing indicating what qualifies a straightforward application however, my assumption is that two factors rely on the answer of an application, 1. Your original country (I believe they do check up on you where you are born and it depends from a country to another, might be quick or slow bu...

Re: Next Ceremony 26th November at Killarney

M7edShin My advice to you at this time would be just to wait. Your application hasn't reached the second stage yet and until then there is not much you can do apart from waiting. I know there's a ceremony looming around but there's nothing really you can do to speed things up. in fact if you look o...
