Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

It appears that not only is the HO unable to deliver decisions within the 24 hour period promised for priority applications but Sopra Steria is also not able to offer appointments within five days from the online application as promised. Very disturbing! Ok i think I might actually start crying now...

Re: Passport Photos for new service

Just wanted to say a big thank you to CR001 and allyf for the help and advice. We (finally!) submitted yesterday. Our experience of the service centre was not pleasant. Took close to 4hrs to go through the whole process. This was due to too many appointments and not enough staff. To their credit, t...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Just so you know, I received an email today, the day after my wife's appointment at the premium lounge in London, confirming the granting of my wife's further leave to remain (extension under FLR(M) route). We will receive the mail with the BRP in due course it said. Quick and efficient. By the way...

Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

Hi I paid 3018 gbp for super premium service at Croydon . Yeah looks like even though they say you can book appointment within 5 days, doesn't seem to be the case, probably because of upcoming holidays. Anyway's, coming back to my question, when you submit your documents, does the date of it count ...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Wanted to touch base with others to see if anyone has made a booking for this week or next with sopra steria. I’m within my 28 days starting next week and I’m hopeful that I’ll get an appointment either the 19th, 20th or 21st...I want this application out of my hair before Christmas!! I read on anot...

Re: Passport Photos for new service

It looks good to me… I would just recommend providing more than less.. so if there are any other correspondence throw in a couple more. I have a slightly more complicated case where we moved houses three times in the last 2.5 years. Only because we were waiting for our house to finish building... i’...

Re: Passport Photos for new service

Sorry, should have mentioned my wife is applying for her ILR through the 5 year route using form SET(M). I’m also SET M 5 year route ILR so I can’t take any chances so will provide what I can. Online form has also asked about problems at immigration which I unfortunately had on my arrival in the UK...

Re: Passport Photos for new service

The new online form gives a checklist at the end. I meant, it can make some errors as the new online form is very new. As I said, similarly the check list for Tier 1 also demands for two documents which are not required by the guidance but we have to tick the boxes to proceed. But we have to follow...

Re: Passport Photos for new service

The system is pretty new and not properly updated yet. I am Tier 1 and the online form asks for evidence for 2 things which is NOT required by the guidance. So I would suggest follow the guidance only. If the guidance says its not required dont worry about checking the boxes in the online form. Als...

Re: Passport Photos for new service

The last item on my wife's document checklist states: "Evidence of monthly housing costs for the accommodation in the UK where you live or will live" I plan to provide latest utility bills (energy, water, broadband) as well as history of mortgage payments. I'm going to use Council Tax bill (jointly...

Re: Passport Photos for new service

Hi, Quick question - do we need to provide passport photos if using the new online service instead of old postal application? We will be going to the VISA service point this week. Thanks, SoS Hi spouseofsettler, I’m not 100% sure but I don’t think you need to provide passport photos anymore. Hopefu...

Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

I really don’t know! Or maybe do as cemj did? I doubt it really matters especially in these early days when some clarity is needed. We don’t have to apply yet (SET(M) like you), so hopefully others will advise.I would like to think that, once all the necessary documents are uploaded, that they woul...

Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

Thanks allyf! I hope someone who has completed the process will come back to advise on the issue of 'proof of application' but they all seem to have deserted us! Re: Clarifying SET(M) Visa Doubt through FLR(M) Visa

Hi Vinny or CR001, I am applying for ILR under set M and under mandatory documents to scan it advises “proof of application”. Does anyone know what proof they require? Would I need to print off entire application form (even though it is submitted online) or would proof of payment be what they need? ...
