Re: Every time same reply from the HO

People reacts to anxiety and stress differently. The person asking is obviously not enjoying it. So it is up to you as a respondent to whether ignore the question (if you feel annoyed) or answer kindly. Being hostile, with lengthy lectures about what makes and doesn’t make sense take a lot more effo...

Re: Every time same reply from the HO

No point of replying to him/her. Kindness costs nothing, it is not like he/she is obliged to answer you. He is just putting all this effort into non-constructive criticism more like hostile. Anyway, i hope you will hear soon. Just to let you know, it looks like Feb applications are not moving as fas...

Re: Tax Return Form issue

Also, you can provide a tax statement which is available online. That doesnt have ‘Copy only’ stamped on it. I dont think this is right! Even HMRC tells you to use the online documents available. I used to be self - employed (sole trader) for 2 years. I used to submit my tax return online and was go...

I dont think this is right! Even HMRC tells you to use the online documents available. I used to be self - employed (sole trader) for 2 years. I used to submit my tax return online and was going to include the copies one can print out from the platform, as supporting documents. These have 'copy only...

You have the right to be anxious and stressed my friend! Don’t be undermined by anyone’s ill comments!

Re: Every time same reply from the HO

First of all, I accept the fact that continuously emailing is not the right method to deal with the situation. Now that is clear. I believe that your post is impolite and unsympathetic. You’re not in any position (as no one is) to undermine anyone’s anxiety or the seriousness of it or the actions ta...

I used old paper system. Submitted on 29 January. Haven't heard until 25 February. However, once I submitted biometrics (8 March), they approved within 8 business days (20 March).

Re: Application by post a lot quicker than with UKVCAS ??

It is The online route + existing system which has been available end of Jan early Feb, not sure what happened after that. But if we look at the Feb timeline, there is a tendency to conclude that those who used Online +postal have got their approval quicker than the other option. At the end of the d...

Re: Application by post a lot quicker than with UKVCAS ??

From the mildly indicative statistics from End of January to end of Feb post applications had quicker turnover. Just an observation! Hi, I submitted my application on Feb 13th, till today there is nothing back yet. I also see that there are more people waiting even from January which used UKVCAS, wh...

Re: Every time same reply from the HO

Yep I totally share your frustration. From the February timeline it does clearly appear the 4 approvals were for people who sent documents by post. It could be a coincidence but statistics usually is not coincidental! I really do wonder what's causing the delay. I submitted everything online on 30th...

I am still waiting.. but if you look at the February timeline the only people who got approval so far have sent their document by post. Did you send your document by post or was it all onlin...

Re: Every time same reply from the HO

These replies are not very reliable. I’ve done the same and got the same answer. I applied on 5th feb not long after you did. I noticed though that they are going through application that were done online and submitted by post first or at least quicker! Hi there, I have applied for my BC on 30th Jan...

Re: Removing Lawyer from BC and Registration Application

Terrible to hear about this negligence from your lawyer! I am not sure if there is a structured process to remove him from your case (hopefuly someone else could help in this forum) but If there isn’t, I would write to the Home Office a formal letter/email requesting his removal from the case.

Re: good character

My answer remains the same: the act of divorcing her husband in itself will not affect her naturalisation process. The fact that he was an overstayer is not her offence unless it was proven that she assisted him somehow with that immigration breach. Hi Monika, Divorcing your husband will not affect ...

No need to mention it in the extra bit, it is enough to just submit the brp. Hi, Just a quick question. Under required documents, they are asking to submit the BRP and also asking to submit the proof of permission to stay in the UK permanently (for this again the proof is BRP). So submitting BRP is ...

As long as the 2 referees are not related to each other or to you and your wife i.e not family members then this should be fine. Your original post is slightly confusing.
