Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Hi all... Me too silently waiting in pain every second...it’s a sensitive issue for many like me- jobs at stake, job changes at stake, travel, family, etc etc... My in-person submission @ Manchester Library was on Sat, 24th of Nov 2018 (I only applied for myself, thought of applying for family once...

Re: Relying on savings - when can you spend them?

yeah, it's a shame, we actually had 37k in that account 7 weeks ago when we did the application and have withdrawn down to 35k, but can't go any further.

We will wait and not touch that account

Re: IHS refunded before decision made!

there has been some talk in the other thread about this happening. It seems they are starting to give refunds of the priority part of the total fee for those applications where they have been unable to give 24hr decisions. Whether that means your application (and many others') will now be considered...

Relying on savings - when can you spend them?

We rely on savings for our ILR SET(M) application, alongside my wife's full time salary. We've been caught up in the whole 24hr Priority fiasco, so exactly a month after our London premium centre appointment, here we are still waiting for a decision. So...we haven't touched our savings on the presum...

Re: What Financial Times has to say about Super Steria!!

I think this is the same article that was posted just before Christmas.

The blame, from my perspective, lies not with SS but very much with the HO themselves.

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

with this news today that they're automatically refunding the 610 for those who have had to wait a long time, I wonder if those applications are then simply put into the Standard pile, in which case we'll be waiting until March/April for an answer? while the refund itself may be good news, the conse...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

UKVI replied to my email clarifying they want to process all applications soonest and if decision is pending due to not of customer fault then super priority service fee will be refunded. Anybody got similar response for the delay? This helps to know at least £600 fee can be refundable. :( I had a ...

Re: Online Application vs Sopra Service Appointment Date

There are now 20-30 people in this situation, including me.

1. nobody to my knowledge has been refused under these circumstances.
2. many people have had successful applications despite this problem.

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

I've revised my list from ten days ago. I know it's not perfect, there's a mix of different routes here and some people won't have come back to update the conclusion which everyone can see clearly is that the 2nd half of November was a total mess. There were basically NO quick decisions until well i...

Hi jiewo1sheng,

I went for the appointment with the same application on December 24, 2018 and still waiting for a decision from home office.
You mean SET(M)?

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Just did my FOURTH escalation. It's laughable now considering the amazing level of success the first three have had: 1. Called my wife's phone when she was in bathroom. So then they sent email saying, and I quote, 'we presume this issue has now been resolved and will therefore be closing the ticket'...

Has anyone checked that is there any particular kind of applications decisions taking time or just random. I have observed on this forum that most Set M applications are getting quick results as there might be less checks to make.

OR might be wrong.
I am SET(M).

I'm STILL waiting...27 days and counting. I have given some updates in the other general thread: https://www.immigrationboards.com/general-uk-immigration-forum/ukvcas-super-priority-service-t267745.html Now got my local MP involved, don't expect anything back from her until 27/28th at the earliest. ...

this is insane that there are people getting responses in 12-36 hours, yet there are MANY of us now waiting 3-4 weeks - have all of ours slipped down the back of a radiator?

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

If you go to Google and search for "financial times visa", you'll find the story.

The journalist says there are people waiting "up to a week" for a 24hr decision, I tweeted her to tell her it's MUCH worse than that!

Maybe we can get some traction now...negative PR can work wonders!

put it under "Other", yes. I really don't think those categories are THAT important, just an organisational tool to help both you and the caseworker. Plenty of people have uploaded everything in one category and others, like me, tried to use logical filtering but the caseworker will see everything a...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

I am going through SET(M) currently, also didn't get presented with consent form but printed, scanned and signed the one that was linked above, thinking it's better to present one form too much than one too few. I uploaded that scan to Sopra Steria so it's there in my uploaded docs. If it's not rele...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

does anyone know of UKVI working calendar over Christmas? Is anything likely to happen in the week December 24th-28th or will the whole thing be a write off? My guess is that they are open 24th, 27-28 but don't think anyone is actually going to "WORK". Maybe 1-2 approvals perhaps but don't expect m...
