Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

I went to Mark Lane, London on 30th November and haven't had a peep out of HO, not a call, email or pigeon. Most others seem to be in the same situation though, so I'm not sure what is to be gained by calling the UKVI helpline at this point. I think I'll contact DX though. Have you contacted DX. I ...

Re: SET (M) Life in the UK

I typed out in Word a 2 paragraph statement, paraphrasing: our savings come from employment in the last five years. They have been held at the required level for at least six months (as shown by accompanying statements) and are immediately accessible. We have not made use of any loans and have not b...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

yep, one of the things I tried was to log in and see if my docs were all still there, it seems they are for both those of us without decisions yet and also for those who have received news. I guess at some point, that disk space that has been allocated to each applicant will expire, but it might wel...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

I'm not calling or emailing anyone anymore, I just don't think it's worth it, they evidently are having huge issues somewhere. I'll track progress of others on here, if people from last/this week's appointments start getting emails/calls and we don't, then I'll do something. Haven't even bothered wi...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

the DX courier 'live chat' seems to be not working at all - just to add to our sheer pleasure 8) I've been asking them through private messages on Twitter. They'll check for you if you just give them your address, they'll let you know if there's anything on the way, although it seems like UKVI is th...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

this thread is a perfect illustration of the saying "misery loves company". I have to say, I'm slightly less anxious today compared to two days ago because I see others in the same boat. They are in a mess and no doubt there are hundred of "24hr decision" applications in a log jam for some reason. W...

Re: Cancellation of ILR appointment

I'd also like to add that this is something the HO has seen a big spate of recently, with the paper forms being withdrawn and the new, faster appointment system being introduced. I think I've counted about 8 examples on this forum just in the last couple of weeks, so you can multiply that number eno...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

it all seems very random. I had super priority appointment in London on Friday, nothing heard. In the other thread, someone went to exact same centre the day after and they've already had email confirming the visa has been granted. On the call centre, it's the same. I had my details taken by super ...

The "Could you live outside the UK?" question

I'm currently waiting on an answer for my ILR application, so my stress/anxiety levels are already through the roof and halfway to Mars. woke this morning thinking about this question. We answered 'yes' to this. Was this a really stupid thing to do? Surely they don't see that and decide "oh right, b...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

I contacted the helpline just now, going through options 4 and 1. Had appointment Friday morning in London premium centre, so it's been four calendar days now. Fortunate enough to get someone who was happy to take all my details and she said she'd raise a ticket. BUT at the end, she said it might be...

had appointment in Premium Centre London on Friday. Not expecting anything until tomorrow or Wednesday at the earliest, but haven't had any email at all and reading the previous post above, should we have got something? An email saying "we have received biometrics/documents"?

For example, if your appointment is on Friday 21st December at 10:00am, we will aim to make a decision on your application by Monday 24th December, 9:59am.
how is that 24 working hours? Even including Saturday and counting 9am to 6pm, it's still only 8 + 9 + 1 = 18 hours.

Re: help - set(m) document uploading categories??

I've done the doc uploading process. I think those categories are just an organisational 'help', a bit for you, a bit for the caseworker. And I presume the categories are the same for everyone doing visa applications so the 'Life Events' category was not relevant for me doing SET(M) but for someone ...

Re: Date Of Application - ILR

I think that message on the cancel page is just a catch-all so people have zero expectations. UKVI themselves have a huge PDF giving guidance on withdrawal and altering of applications, many circumstances in which you would be eligible for a partial or full refund. This document is a long read but d...

Re: Submitted Online Form today - have I applied to early?

nothing much to report really. Went to London Premium Centre today. Wife did biometrics and all our uploaded files were sent off. The staff at Sopra Steria have no real knowledge of these things and no power, they are admin staff, nothing more nothing less. So not getting any sort of reliable answer...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Firstly, like many people I got confused and became over excited after the new system launched (having failed to secure premium appointment) and submitted my application rather prematurely. My 28 days qualifying for ILR started on 21.11.18 but I submitted my application on 05.11.2018 obviously in o...

Re: Submitted Online Form today - have I applied to early?

we have our Premium appointment on Friday and we will be bringing up the subject of the application date with them there, hoping they can at least make a call and see the situation. If we find out then that no, it's not a valid application for the date reason, we will request a withdrawal of the app...

It’s exactly where google maps says it is. Doesn’t have a building number but big glass window with nameage on the inside wall won’t be hard to fine.

Re: Premium Service appointment booking issue for ILR (LR)

Hi, I booked an appointment for ILR spouse same day service. The appointment is on 3rd Dec 2018. She was granted visa from 30/12/2013. Upon applying 28 days policy I see that the earliest I can apply is 2nd Dec. I called Soapra Steria and asked them about the application date. They confirmed that t...

Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

I'm booked for Friday in London Premium Centre. The address is given as "20 Mark Lane" Using Street View on google maps, all the numbers seem to be in the 50s to 70s. Where exactly is the London Premium Centre, is there a little side alley you have to go down or something like that? ************* H...
