Re: Submitted Online Form today - have I applied to early?

we have our Premium appointment on Friday and we will be bringing up the subject of the application date with them there, hoping they can at least make a call and see the situation. If we find out then that no, it's not a valid application for the date reason, we will request a withdrawal of the app...

It’s exactly where google maps says it is. Doesn’t have a building number but big glass window with nameage on the inside wall won’t be hard to fine.
ok thanks

Re: Premium Service appointment booking issue for ILR (LR)

Hi, I booked an appointment for ILR spouse same day service. The appointment is on 3rd Dec 2018. She was granted visa from 30/12/2013. Upon applying 28 days policy I see that the earliest I can apply is 2nd Dec. I called Soapra Steria and asked them about the application date. They confirmed that t...

Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

I'm booked for Friday in London Premium Centre. The address is given as "20 Mark Lane" Using Street View on google maps, all the numbers seem to be in the 50s to 70s. Where exactly is the London Premium Centre, is there a little side alley you have to go down or something like that? ************* H...

Re: Submitted date vs Appointment date?

my only hope is that the HO will be seeing a spate of these slightly early applications this and next month as online becomes the only application method and they choose to be a little flexible as long as the appointment comes in the valid window.

the HO being flexible. Yeah right...

Can I use a 'Transaction List' signed/stamped by bank?

I am relying on a savings account for ILR financial requirement. I need to show the balance hasn't fallen below £34,600 for six months. I have a 'transaction list' PDF, generated by online banking, going back 6 months and 2 weeks, then printed out and taken into the branch and stamped and signed. It...

Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

I've been waiting all week for the new centres in London to come online (Barbican, Kensington, Victoria, etc) and gave up today and booked £200 appointment at the London Premium Centre. Tried to get a free one at Croydon and nothing available until December 3rd! Which is too late for us.

having paid for a 24hr decision, if they take 4-6 days with me, there's no way on earth I won't be claiming at least a partial refund, especially as it's ILR I'm going for and there'll be no further need to keep the HO sweet. :D

Re: ILR applying without B1

why are people being switched across to FLR when they are applying for ILR? I've read about 2-3 of these incidences on these forums now, yet any solicitor I spoke to said "no, we've never heard about that, it would never happen".

Is it because the old visa has expired?

Re: Submitted Online Form today - have I applied to early?

We thought about things at the weekend and have decided: 1. to go ahead with the application, not to cancel it. The main reason for this being our understanding that a rejection won't affect our chances of immediately re-applying. 2. AGAINST the cover letter. We might pen something simple ourselves,...

Re: Premium Service appointment booking issue for ILR (LR)

I am also in a situation where i submitted the application and done the payment on 10 th of november and was planning to take an appointment in December first week, which will be 28 days before the qualifying period. But now, everyone in this group are saying that, the date of online submission is ...

Re: Submitted Online Form today - have I applied to early?

I spoke with an immigration lawyer today. Summary below: 1. There is no clear guidance by UKVI about this precise situation but she leans towards "online submission date is to be considered the application date". There does seem to be more of a consensus on this board in the last day or so that this...

Yes, that reference is from this PDF, page 9 https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/723413/Calculating-continuous-leave-v17.0-EXT.pdf and SET(M) is not listed in the relevant categories at the top of that document, so unfortunately I can't rel...

Re: Submitted Online Form today - have I applied to early?

So you agree that there is nothing clear in the rules or guidance? I have now heard from 3 immigration solicitors this morning and they are unanimous that the current situation is very ambiguous and that there is no clear guidance as to this date question. I repeat what is included in the guidance: ...

Re: Submitted Online Form today - have I applied to early?

Lacking clear black and white answers on here, I've sought advice elsewhere the guidance does appear to be somewhat contradictory and the hotline support is sometimes not accurate, in my experience. Based on our experience, the person who considers your wife’s application during the premium service ...

Re: Submitted date vs Appointment date?

I believe, as a Tier 2 applicant, you were allowed to do this because of what is stated on page 9 here: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/723413/Calculating-continuous-leave-v17.0-EXT.pdf and therefore they took the "decision day" which f...
