Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

If you go to Google and search for "financial times visa", you'll find the story.

The journalist says there are people waiting "up to a week" for a 24hr decision, I tweeted her to tell her it's MUCH worse than that!

Maybe we can get some traction now...negative PR can work wonders!

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

put it under "Other", yes. I really don't think those categories are THAT important, just an organisational tool to help both you and the caseworker. Plenty of people have uploaded everything in one category and others, like me, tried to use logical filtering but the caseworker will see everything a...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

I am going through SET(M) currently, also didn't get presented with consent form but printed, scanned and signed the one that was linked above, thinking it's better to present one form too much than one too few. I uploaded that scan to Sopra Steria so it's there in my uploaded docs. If it's not rele...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

does anyone know of UKVI working calendar over Christmas? Is anything likely to happen in the week December 24th-28th or will the whole thing be a write off? My guess is that they are open 24th, 27-28 but don't think anyone is actually going to "WORK". Maybe 1-2 approvals perhaps but don't expect m...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

I will write to my MP this evening. It will make her week, I think. She'll no doubt reply "oh, that's delightful, I had no idea our immigration policies were working so well! Enjoy your hostile environment." She might at least make a call to confirm we are not stuck in the 6-month-decision pile. 8)...

Re: Date of ILR application for Priority Service under new system

There are many of us in the same boat, I think probably c.25 on this forum alone. There are quite a few that have already been accepted under these circumstances. I am SET(M) myself so am more focused on that and there have been THREE SET(M) acceptances despite application date being before qualific...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

This is why I will be making an official complaint about the helpline, it's a warehouse of clowns. It's not their fault, they are badly trained and given no powers and poor information. The people themselves are generally ok, with a few failed middle managers thrown in for good measure. You could sa...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Guys, Whoever received the Approval emails, congrats to all (ILR applicants). Just wondering did any of you contacted UKVI for the refund (£600) as clearly they didn't process within 24 hours as its per Priority service standards? I applied on 6th December (Tier 2 to ILR) and still waiting for the ...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Yes, I'm SET(M) ILR since Nov 30th and still waiting rang the helpline now and escalated for THIRD time. Spoke to really friendly guy who was super apologetic. He said he'd mark the escalation as urgent, whatever good that will do. I don't think, after this clown-driven farce, that they could reject...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

I had some spare time so have made a list of all the cases on here in the last few weeks. There does seem to be a lot more responses since middle of last week, so maybe they're getting on top of everything. This is not 100% perfect. I guess a few will have had responses and not posted in here about ...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Tiny update. Reminder: SET(M) application, online form submitted Nov 12th, Sopra Steria appointment Nov 30th, I am among c.20 on these boards who have applied before the 'qualification period minus 28 days' (I've counted them!) so that adds a whole other level of anxiety to the entire process. Re-es...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

UKVI will probably go the same way as UKBA, "not fit for purpose".

But it might take another five years for that to happen. Some of us might have got replies to our applications by then. :P

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Do we qualify for a refund as the HO has failed its service standard of 24 hours? they don't even treat you as if you are eligible for any visa when you call the number.they snap back at you. do you think they will give refund? I will 100% be applying for a refund - but only after all this is done....

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

I went to Mark Lane, London on 30th November and haven't had a peep out of HO, not a call, email or pigeon. Most others seem to be in the same situation though, so I'm not sure what is to be gained by calling the UKVI helpline at this point. I think I'll contact DX though. Have you contacted DX. I ...

I typed out in Word a 2 paragraph statement, paraphrasing: our savings come from employment in the last five years. They have been held at the required level for at least six months (as shown by accompanying statements) and are immediately accessible. We have not made use of any loans and have not b...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

yep, one of the things I tried was to log in and see if my docs were all still there, it seems they are for both those of us without decisions yet and also for those who have received news. I guess at some point, that disk space that has been allocated to each applicant will expire, but it might wel...
